Day-wise Itinerary

Day 1: Arrive Delhi

Arrive Delhi; the capital of India, a seat of successive dynasties and empires is now a sprawling metropolis with a fascinating blend of the past and the present. Our company representatives will receive you on arrival at the international airport in Delhi. You will be guided to your hotel for overnight stay.

Day 2: Delhi – Agra

In the morning, after breakfast, drive to Agra, the City of Taj that takes about four to five hours and check in at the hotel on arrival. Go on the sightseeing tour with marble wonder Taj Mahal, Agra Fort and Itmad-ud-Daulah's Tomb. Visit the local market in the evening. Stay overnight stay at hotel in Agra.

Day 3: Agra - Fatehpur Sikri - Jaipur

After breakfast at the hotel, drive to Jaipur, visiting Fatehpur Sikri en route. Fatehpur Sikri has sacred tomb of Sheikh Salim Chisti and Buland Darwaza, reputed to be the largest gateway in the world. It has several monuments, palaces and courtyards worth a visit. It was very well planned city by Akbar but had to be deserted due to scarcity of water. Stay overnight stay in the hotel at Jaipur, the capital of Rajasthan.

Day 4: Jaipur

After breakfast proceed for an excursion to Amber Fort and ride like a king or queen on elephant's back there. Sightseeing tour of the city of Jaipur is scheduled for the day that includes a visit to the City Palace, the City Palace Museum, Jantar Mantar; a royal observatory with masonry astronomical instruments and Hawa Mahal. In the evening visit Chowki Dhani – A theme village. Stay overnight at hotel in Jaipur.

Day 5: Jaipur – Ajmer - Pushkar

After breakfast, leave for Pushkar. Visit Ajmer en route. Arrive Pushkar and check in at the hotel. Visit the holy Pushkar Lake, the only Brahma Temple in the world and the Rose Garden, famous for its essence that is exported all over the world. Stay overnight at the hotel.

Day 6: Pushkar – Chittaurgarh

After breakfast, drive to Chittaurgarh and visit the ruins of the famous Chittaurgarh Fort. It is said that the fort was attacked thrice and on the each women, proud Rajput women burnt themselves alive along with their children, so that the enemy could not get the chance to dishonor them. Check in and overnight stay at the hotel in Chittaurgarh.

Day 7: Chittorgarh – Udaipur

After the breakfast, embark on a five-hour-long drive to Udaipur, where you will check in at hotel for overnight stay. Udaipur is known as the City of Lakes as it has three big lakes and is surrounded by Aravallis. It had been an important town in the Mewar kingdom and was ruled by the Sisodia dynasty for more than twelve centuries. Evening is free at leisure. Stay overnight at the hotel.

Day 8: Udaipur

After breakfast proceed for a sightseeing tour of Udaipur. The tour includes a visit to elegant City Palace with Shish Mahal and the Peacock Courtyard; the garden that was once used exclusively for royal ladies called Sahelion-ki-Bari, the Jagdish Temple, the folk museum, cruise on the calm blue waters of Lake Pichola and the visit to the island palace known as the Jag Mandir Palace. Stay overnight at the hotel in Udaipur.

Day 9: Udaipur – Ranakpur - Ghanerao / Jojawar / Narlai

After breakfast proceed for the the village of Ghanerao / Jojawar / Narlai (*depends on your hotel choice). Check in at the Fort, founded in 1606, and preserved with great character. Enjoy & feel the royal hospitality. Stay overnight at the Fort.

Day 10: Ghanerao / Jojawar / Narlai – Jodhpur

After breakfast proceed for the village sightseeing. Drive to Jodhpur - the fortified city of Rajasthan. Check in at the hotel and visit the museum of Umaid Bhawan Palace. Stay overnight at Jodhpur.

Day 11: Jodhpur – Pokaran - Jaisalmer

Visit of the imposing Meherangarh Fort. Long road in the middle of the desert of Thar. At the end of the day arrival in Jaisalmer, that we will see in the distance dominating desert. Visit Pakaran village en route. Stay overnight at Jaisalmer.

Day 12: Jaisalmer – Thar Desert

Departure by jeep through the desert of Thar. On the way, visit of the Jain temple of Amarsagar. Lunch in the village of Khuri. Departure riding on dromedary towards the middle of the desert. Arrival at the camp at sunset. Dining and camping in the dunes.

Day 13: Thar Desert – Jaisalmer

After the sunrise and breakfast, return to Khuri riding on dromedary by a different route from the day before. Return by the jeep to Jaisalmer. Afternoon is free at leisure. Stay overnight at the hotel.

Day 14: Jaisalmer – Bikaner

After breakfast drive to to Bikaner, visiting Nagaur enroute. In Bikaner, check in at the hotel for overnight stay. Camels of Bikaner are known all over the world as the best riding camels and you can see them at work here. The Camel Breeding Farm and unique wells of Bikaner are quite a sight. Spend evening at leisure.

Day 15: Bikaner - Mandawa

After breakfast, drive to Mandawa, where you can see the Mandawa Fort, the different setting and style of all its 51 rooms and its museum that has a rich collection of arms with jade handles and traditional ceremonial costumes of the royal family. Village tour in the evening. Stay overnight at the hotel.

Day 16: Mandawa - Delhi

After breakfast, see the painted Havelis of Mandawa that belong to its rich merchants including the Chowkhani Haveli, Gulab Rai Ladia Haveli and Mohahanlal Saraf Haveli and note that most of the paintings and frescoes have local deities and daily desert lifestyle as its main theme. Leave for Delhi in the afternoon, where you will check in at the hotel for overnight stay.

Day 17: Delhi - Departure

Have a breakfast and then for a shopping. In the late evening you will then be transferred to the airport from where you can catch your flight to onward destination.
