About the tour
Leh, the capital of Ladakh is situated towards the eastern parts of Jammu and Kashmir. It lies on the crossroads of the historic 'Silk Route' from Sinkiang to West Asia and to the plains of India. There are a number of interesting places and monasteries to visit in and around Leh, such as - The Leh Palace, the monasteries of Shey, Hemis, Alchi, Thikse and Lamayuru.

Day-wise Itinerary
ExpandDay 1: Arrival At Leh
Arrival Leh in the morning and transfer to the hotel. Take complete rest for the day for acclimatization to the high altitude of Leh (11,500 ft / 3500 meters). Overnight stay at hotel.
Day 2: Leh Local Sightseeing
After leisurely breakfast visit Shey Palace, Thiksey Monastery and Sindhu Ghat. Post lunch drive to visit Hall of Fame ( Museum of military Heritage ), Kali Mata (Temple of Guardians in Spituk monastery), Gurudwara Pathar Sahib, Magnetic Point and Sangam (confluence of Indus and Zanskar rivers). Overnight stay at hotel.
Day 3: Leh To Khardungla Later Back To Leh
Morning excursion to Khardong-La (80 kms round trip / alt: 18,380 feet), highest motor-able pass in the world and recorded in the Guinness book of World records. Rest of the day free to explore the markets for shopping etc. Overnight stay at hotel.
Day 4: Drop To Leh Airport
Early morning transfer to the airport for taking the flight back home. Tour ends with sweet memories.
