Day-wise Itinerary

Day 1: Cochin To Munnar

Pick up from Cochin airport or railway station and transfer to Munnar, one of the most beautiful hill station in South India. On the way visit Cheeyappara and Valara waterfalls. Overnight stay at resort or hotel.

Day 2: Munnar Sightseeing

Enjoy the breakfast and proceed for sightseeing of Munnar. Visit Eravikulam National Park where you can see the rare species Nilgiri Tahr (mountain goats). Also visit Mattupetty Dam it offers many fascinating sights to relish. Besides the lush green tea plantations and the rolling grasslands, the Shola forests in and around Mattupetty are ideal for trekking and are habitat to a variety of birds. Later visit Kundala Dam. Kundala is a picturesque town located at the confluence of three mountain streams namely Mudrapuzha, Nallathanni and Kundala. Enroute visit Echo Point, View Point and green carpet of Tea Gardens. Overnight stay at resort or hotel.

Day 3: Munnar To Thekkady

After breakfast proceed to Thekkady. It is famous for its dense evergreen, semi-evergreen, moist deciduous forests and savanna grass lands. Visit Periyar Wildlife Sanctuary, home to nomadic tribes of wild elephant, boar, deer, the great Indian tiger and more. Evening enjoy the boat cruise in the lake to watch wild animals. Overnight stay at Thekkady.

Day 4: Thekkady To Alleppey

After breakfast, check out from the hotel and proceed to Alleppey, which has an immense natural beauty and it is famous for backwater cruising and boat race. Check into your Houseboat and cruise through the Narrow Canal amidst the Paddy Fields, Coconut Lagoons and Coir Villages in Alleppey. Overnight stay at the houseboat.

Day 5: Alleppey To Cochin Departure

Check out from Houseboat at 9 AM and proceed to Cochin. If time permits, Cochin sightseeing. On time transfer to airport or railway station to connect flight or train for your onward journey.
