ExpandDay 01: Njp Rly. Stn. / Ixb Airport – Darjeeling (About 90 Kms / 03 Hrs. Drives)
Arrive at NJP station / IXB airport & transfer to Darjeeling. Check-in to your hotel & rest of the day free at leisure. Spend overnight at hotel in Darjeeling.
Day 02: Darjeeling (Local Sightseeing)
Witness the spectacular sunrise over Mt. Khangchendzongha (28,208 ft. Worlds 3rd highest peak at around 4 a.m) at Tiger Hill in early morning (subject to weather condition); thrill yourself by visiting World famous Ghoom Monastery and Batasia Loop on your way back. After a sumptuous breakfast visit Himalayan Mountaineering Institute, P.N. Zoological Park (Thursday closed), Tenzing Rock, Tibetan Refugee self-help Center (Sunday closed), Tea Garden (outer view) , Japanese Temple, Peace Pagoda and Ropeway (Ticket cost not included and will be approx Rs.180 per person-directly payable by guest). In evening explore the Mall on your own & shop around. Spend overnight at hotel in Darjeeling.
Day 03: Darjeeling – Gangtok (About 115kms/ 04 Hrs. Drive) &gangtok Sightseeing
After a delightful breakfast drive to Gangtok. Check-in to your hotel. Afternoon visit Ranka Monastery , Banjhakri Falls, Dro-DulChorten, Institute of Tibetology, Flower show and Handicraft Centre. Evening free at leisure or you can enjoy shopping by own. Spend overnight at hotel in Gangtok.
Day 04: Gangtok Sightseeing - Tsomgo Lake & Baba Mandir
After a sumptuous breakfast visit Tsomgo Lake (12,400 ft.) & Baba Mandir (13,200 ft.) which is 55 kms one way from Gangtok city. Spend overnight at hotel in Gangtok.(If due to landslide or bad road condition Tsomgo Lake is closed then alternate sightseeing will be provided)
Day 05:gangtok – Njp Rly Stn /ixb Airport(About 125 Kms / 04 Hrs. Drive)
Morning is free for your packing & personal activities. After a breakfast check out from hotel and transfer to NJP railway station / IXB airport for your onward journey. We wish you HAPPY JOURNEY
