Coorg is also known for spices such as black pepper and cardamom. What makes Coorg unique is that it is not yet connected by rail or air. Tucked away in the scenic Western Ghats, it is 260 kms from Bangalore, 120 kms from Mangalore and 120 kms from Mysore. Its forests are also home to the Pushpagiri Wildlife Sanctuary, Nagarahole National Park, Talakaveri Wildlife Sanctuary and the Brahmagiri Wildlife Sanctuary.
Here is how you will spend your time
Day 01 : Arrival At Mysore
Arrive at Mysore and check in at the hotel. After lunch visit the Mysore Palace. Later take a drive to Chamundi Hills and pay your obeisance to goddess Chamundi. Spend the evening at Brindavan Gardens behind the Krishnaraja Sagar Dam. The garden has innumerable fountains which dance to the music every evening. This Garden has been the filming location for many Hindi movies of bygone days. Overnight at the hotel.
After breakfast, drive to Coorg. Arrive and check into the hotel. Arrive at Coorg early morning and check into the hotel. After lunch visit the Golden Temple and the Buddhist settlement at Bylekuppe. Thereafter visit Kaveri Nisargadhama, a small island created by the split of the Kaveri River. There is an Ecological Park, a deer Park, a small snack house and even facilities for boating. Overnight at the hotel.

Day 03 : Sigthseeing Tour Of Coorg
After breakfast take a sightseeing tour of Madikeri and visit Omkareshwara Temple. This temple is an amazing mix of Catholic, Gothic and Islamic architecture. Drive to Abbey Falls, which is about 7 kms from Madikeri. Visit the Madikeri fort and Gaddige or Raja's Tomb. Culminate your trip with a visit to Raja's Seat at Mercara. This is a garden of seasonal flowers and was the favorite of the Kings of Kodagu. If time permits watch a breath taking sunset. Late evening return to the Hotel. Overnight at the hotel.
