Day-wise Itinerary
ExpandDay 01: New Jalpaiguri Station / Bagdogra Airport - Darjeeling (About 90 Kms / 3 Hrs)--
Meet & Greet on arrival at New Jalpaiguri Station / Bagdogra Airport & transfer to Darjeeling is one of the most magnificent hill resorts in the world. Evening free to explore this Hill Queen. Overnight Halt at Darjeeling.
Day 02: Darjeeling--
Early Morning at 0400 AM visit Tiger Hill famous for sunrise over Mt. Kanchendzonga, on way back visit Ghoom Monastery, Batasia Loop and back to hotel. After breakfast visit Himalayan Mountaineering Institute, PNZ Zoological Park (closed on Thursday) Tenzing Rock, Tibetan Refuge Centre (closed on Sunday), Tea Garden (outer view), and back to hotel for lunch. Overnight Halt at Darjeeling.
Day 03: Darjeeling - Mirik Excursion--
After breakfast excursion trip to Mirik Lake an excellent picnic spot, nestled in forested hills at an altitude of 5800 ft., it is famous for its man-made Sumendu Lake; orange orchards, cardamom plantations and tea estates enhance the Surroundings here. Evening return to the hotel. Overnight Halt at Darjeeling.
Day 04: Darjeeling - Kalimpong (57 Kms / 2 Hrs) Sight Seeing At Kalimpong --
After Breakfast transfer to Kalimpong where on arrival check-in to your hotel. After lunch enjoy half day tour of Kalimpong Visit Delo Hills, Dr. Graham's Home & flower Nurseries back to hotel. Overnight at hotel Kalimpong.
Day 05: Kalimpong - Gangtok (About 80 Kms /3 Hrs) --
After early breakfast drive to Gangtok- "The Capital City of Sikkim". On arrival check-in to your hotel. Overnight at hotel in Gangtok.
Day 06: Gangtok--
After breakfast excursion trip to Tsomgo Lake & Baba Mandir. Overnight stay in the Hotel in Gangtok.
Day 07: Gangtok - Lachung (About 125 Kms / 6 Hrs)--
After breakfast drive to Lachung (altitude 8800 ft) for about 6 hours. Enroute visit Singhik View point, Seven Sisters Water Falls, Naga Water Falls. Stop on way for lunch. Reach Lachung by evening. Dinner at hotel. Overnight halt at Lachung hotel.
Day 08: Lachung -yumthang Excursion (24 Km. & 11,800 Ft): --
Early Morning drive toYumthang - Valley (known as Valley of Flowers), Yumthang is the summer grazing ground of the Yaks & winter playgrounds of Yetis. On the way back visit Hot Spring considered to have medicinal properties. Back to resort for lunch. Spent afternoon interacting with the local people taking the idea of their simple lifestyle. Overnight at hotel at Lachung.
Day 09: Lachung - Gangtok (About 125kms/6 Hrs) --
After breakfast departure for the Gangtok enroute witness the Beautification of the wonderful Bheema & Twin Falls. On arrival at check-in to your hotel. Overnight at hotel in Gangtok.
Day 10: Gangtok-pelling (About 125 Kms / 5 Hrs: --
Transfer to Pelling. One can enjoy the spectacular Eastern Himalayan Range from Pelling. Overnight Halt at Pelling.
Day 11: Pelling --
After breakfast start for full day sight seeing which includes Pemayangtse Monastery, Rimbi Falls, and Kanchendzonga falls, Khecheopalri Lake. Overnight Halt at Pelling.
Day 12: Pelling - New Jalpaiguri Station / Bagdogra Airport (About 145 Kms /5 Hrs): --
- After breakfast transfer to New Jalpaiguri Station Stn or Bagdogra
- Airport for return journey with sweet memories of Tibet Tours and Travels.
