Day-wise Itinerary
ExpandDay 1: New Jalpaiguri Station / Bagdogra Airport To Darjeeling
Arrive at New Jalpaiguri station / Bagdogra airport, transfer to Darjeeling (6,710 feet) which is situated in West Bengal. Check in at hotel and rest of the day is free for leisure. Spend overnight at hotel in Darjeeling.
Day 2: Darjeeling Local Sightseeing
Witness the spectacular sunrise over Mt. Kangchendzonga (28,208 ft World’s 3rd highest peak at around 4 A.M) at Tiger hill in the early morning (subject to weather condition), thrill yourself by visiting world famous Ghoom Monastry & Batasia Loop on your way back. After a sumptuous breakfast visit Himalayan Mountaineering Institute, P.N Zoological Park (Thursday Closed), Tenzing Rock, Tibetan Refugee Self Help Centre (Sunday Closed), Tea Garden (outer view), Japanese Temple, Peace Pagoda & Ropeway (Ticket cost not included and will be approx. Rs 180 per person directly payable by guest). In the evening explore the Mall on your own & shop around. In the evening explore the Mall on your own & shop around. Spend overnight at hotel.
Day 3: Darjeeling To Gangtok
After breakfast drive to Gangtok. Check into your hotel. Afternoon visit Ranka Monastery, Banjakhri Falls, Dro-Dul Chorten, Institute of Tibetology, Flower show and Handicraft centre. Spend overnight at Gangtok.
Day 4: Gangtok Sightseeing
After a sumptuous breakfast visit Tsongmo Lake (12,400 feet) and Baba Mandir (13,200 feet) which is 55 kms away from Gangtok city (one way). Spend overnight at hotel in Gangtok.
Day 5: Departure
After a delightful breakfast check out of your hotel and will be transferred to New Jalpaiguri railway station / IXB Airport for your onward journey.

- As per Government rule in this region in one Tata Sumo/similar maximum 08 persons are allowed including child. In case the number of heads travelling increases above 8, then the guests have to take another vehicle
