About the tour
Popularly known as the Queen of Hills, Darjeeling is located in the Shivalik hills of the lower range of the Himalayas. Like most other hill stations in India, the British developed Darjeeling as a respite from the summer heat in the plains. The British loved the town for the complete rejuvenation package that it offered - serene atmosphere, view of the snowline, scented pines and a golden colored brew called the Darjeeling tea.

Day-wise Itinerary
ExpandDay 1: New Jalpaiguri Station / Bagdogra Airport To Darjeeling
Arrive at New Jalpaiguri station / Bagdogra Airport, transfer to Darjeeling (98Km/3Hrs), situated in West Bengal. Check into hotel and rest of the day is free for leisure. Spend overnight at hotel in Darjeeling.
Day 2: Darjeeling Local Sightseeing
Witness the spectacular sunrise over Mount Kangchendzonga (28,208 feet World’s 3rd highest peak at around 4 AM) at Tiger hill in the early morning (subject to weather condition), thrill yourself by visiting world famous Ghoom Monastry and Batasia Loop on your way back. After a sumptuous breakfast visit Himalayan Mountaineering Institute, P.N Zoological Park (Thursday Closed), Tenzing Rock, Tibetan Refugee Self Help Centre (Sunday Closed), Tea Garden (outer view), Japanese Temple, Peace Pagoda and Ropeway (Ticket cost not included and will be approximately. Rs180 per person directly payable by guest). In the evening explore the Mall on your own and shop around. Spend overnight at hotel.
Day 3: Mirik Excursion
After breakfast start your full day excursion trip to Mirik Lake (4,900 feet) via Indo Nepal border (Extra vehicle charges will be applicable from Nepal Border to Pasupati Market). Mirik is famous for its man-made Sumendu Lake, Cardamom plantations and tea estates (One can do boating on direct payment basis in lake). In the evening return to your hotel in Darjeeling. Spend overnight at hotel in Darjeeling.
Day 4: Darjeeling Departure
After breakfast check out of your hotel and will be transferred to New Japlpaiguri Station / Bagdogra airport for your onward journey.
