About the tour
Popularly known as the Queen of Hills, Darjeeling is located in the Shivalik hills of the lower range of the Himalayas. Like most other hill stations in India, the British developed Darjeeling as a respite from the summer heat in the plains. The British loved the town for the complete rejuvenation package that it offered - serene atmosphere, view of the snowline, scented pines and a golden colored brew called the Darjeeling tea.

Day-wise Itinerary
ExpandDay 01: New Jalpaiguri Railway Station / Bagdogra Airport – Darjeeling (98 Kms / 3 Hrs)
Meet and greet on arrival at New Jalpaiguri railway station / Bagdogra Airport and transfer to Darjeeling (6,710 ft.). On arrival Check-in to hotel and rest of the day at leisure. Overnight stay at Darjeeling.
Day 02: Darjeeling Sightseeing
Early Morning (at 04:00 am) drive to Tiger hill to watch the spectacular sunrise over Mt. Khangchendzongha (28,208 ft. Worlds 3rd highest peak), on your way back visit Ghoom Monastery and Batasia Loop. After breakfast visit Himalayan Mountaineering Institute, P.N. Zoological Park (Thursday closed), Tenzing Rock, Tibetan Refugee self-help Centre (Sunday closed), Tea Garden (outer view), Ropeway and Japanese Temple. Evening free for shopping or leisure. Overnight stay at Darjeeling.
Day 03 : Darjeeling To Gangtok (115 Kms / 4 Hrs)
After breakfast proceeds to picturesque drive to Gangtok (5,480 ft.). On arrival Check-in to your hotel. Rest of the day free for leisure. Overnight stay at Gangtok.
Day 04 : Excursion To Tsomgo Lake And Baba Mandir
After breakfast start for an excursion to Tsomgo Lake (12,400 ft.) and Baba Mandir (13,200 ft.) which is 55 kms one way from Gangtok city. Overnight stay at Gangtok.
Day 05 : Gangtok To Lachung (116 Kms / 6 Hrs)
After breakfast pick up from hotel and transfer to Lachung (8,800 ft.). Enroute visit Singhik View point, Seven Sister Water Fall, Naga Water Fall, and arrive Lachung by evening. Dinner and overnight stay at Lachung.
Day 06 : Lachung To Yumthang Valley Excursion
After breakfast drive to Yumthang Valley (11,800 ft. known as Valley of Flowers). On the way back, visit Hot Spring considered to have medicinal properties. Back to resort for lunch. Overnight stay at Lachung.
Day 07 : Lachung To Gangtok (116 Kms / 6 Hrs)
After breakfast departure for Gangtok, enroute witness the wonderful Bheema and Twin water falls. On arrival at Gangtok check-in to your hotel. Overnight stay at Gangtok.
Day 08 : Gangtok To Pelling (120 Kms / 5 Hrs) Via Chardham
After breakfast start for Pelling (6,100 ft.). Enroute visit Temi Tea Garden, Samdruptse and Siddheshwar Dham (Chardham) in Namchi. On arrival check-in to your hotel. Overnight stay at Pelling.
Day 09 : Pelling Sightseeing
After breakfast start for full day sightseeing. 1st Half tour - Darap village, Rimbi water Falls, Sewaro Rock Garden, Khecheopalri Lake and Khangchendzongha waterfalls. In afternoon start for 2nd Half tour - Pemayangtse Monastery, Rabdantse Ruins, New Halipad Ground. Overnight stay at Pelling.
Day 10 : Pelling To Kalimpong (105 Kms / 4 Hrs) Sightseeing
After breakfast drive to Kalimpong (4,100 ft.). On arrival check in to your hotel. Afternoon in visit Mangal Dham, Deolo Hills, Dr. Graham’s Home, Golf Garden, Durpin Dara Hill and Flower Nurseries. Overnight stay at Kalimpong.
Day 11 : Kalimpong To New Jalpaiguri Railway Station / Bagdogra Airport (75 Kms / 3 Hrs)
After breakfast check-out from hotel on time and take the departure transfer to New Jalpaiguri railway station / Bagdogra Airport for your onward journey.
