Day-wise Itinerary
ExpandDay 1: Arrive Darjeeling
On arrival at New Jalpaguri Railway Station/ Bagdogra airport, you’ll be met by our representative and transfer to Darjeeling (98 Km). Overnight at hotel.
Day 2: Darjeeling
Early morning we’ll drive to Tiger Hill to witness sun rise view. Return to Darjeeling by breakfast shortly stopping at Batasia view point. Later we’ll be visiting : The Himalayan Mountaineering, Everest Museum, The Tibetan Refugee Self Help Center Institute, Tenzing –– Gombu Rock, Padmaja Naidu Himalayan Zoological Park (for Tibetan Wolf, Snow Leopard and Red Panda), Tea Garden, Japanese Temple – Peace Pagoda. Afternoon at leisure. Overnight at hotel.
Day 3: Darjeeling To Pelling
Morning will be at leisure, You can walk around The Mall or explore markets or take a toy train ride. Afternoon, after lunch we’ll drive to Pelling (125 Km). Overnight at hotel.
Day 4: Pelling
Today we’ll go on full day excursion around Pelling visiting – Rimbi Water Falls, Kechopalri Lake, Kanchanjunga Waterfalls, Rimbi Rock Garden, Pemayantse Monastery and the most remarkable Rabdentse Ruins. Overnight at hotel.
Day 5: Pelling To Gangtok
Morning drive to Gangtok (135 Km). In Gangtok we’ll be visiting – Enchey Monastery, The Directorate of Handicrafts and Handlooms, Research Institute of Tibetology and Dro–dul–Chorten (Stupa). Overnight at hotel.
Day 6: Gangtok
Morning, after breakfast we’ll go for a day excursion to sacred high altitude Changu Lake (12400 Ft.) and Baba Mandir (Memorial of Baba Harbhajan Singh at 132000 Ft.) Overnight at hotel.
Day 7: Gangtok To Kalimpong
Today after breakfast, we’ll drive to Kalimpong (82 Km). On arrival we’ll check into hotel. Afternoon will be at leisure.
Day 8: Kalimpong
Today after breakfast we’ll go for sightseeing in Kalimpong. It’ll include – The Forest Museum (Closed On Thursday) Deolo Hill, Dr. Graham Homes School, Durpin Monastary, Mangaldham, Pine View Nurseries (Cactus Only). Overnight at hotel.
Day 9: Depart Kalimpong
Transfer to New Jalpaguri Railway Station/ Bagdogra airport (80 Km).
Exclusions
Expand- Cost for supplementary service, optional Tours, Up-gradation Charges, Guide, Sightseeing entrance fees. Cost for Airfare, Train fare, Insurance Premiums, Rafting Charges. Cost for service provided on a personal request. Cost for personal expenses such as laundry, bottled water, soft drinks, incidentals, porter charges, tips etc. Cost for any other service not mentioned under the “Cost Includes” head. Difference in cost arising due to change in Taxes by the Government which will have to be collected directly ON ARRIVAL. Difference in cost arising due to change in Fuel price (Calculation based on Petrol INR 78 per liter & Diesel INR 58 per liter) Difference in cost arising due to extra usage of vehicle, other than scheduled & mentioned in the itinerary. Difference in cost arising due to mishaps, political unrest, natural calamities like - landslides, road blockage, etc. In such case extra will have to be paid on the spot by the guest directly.
