• After breakfast, prepare for a full day excursion to glacial Tsomgo Lake (12,310 feet), and the temple of Baba Harbhajan Singh Mandir (a very holy site for all) – at a short distance of only 40 kms from Gangtok. Home to the Brahmini ducks and many migratory birds, the 1 kilometer long lake is oval shaped and nearly 50 feet deep. The surface reflects different colours with change of seasons and is held in great reverence by the local Sikkimese folk. Spend the evening in Gangtok for some recreational activities such as shopping and a delicious local dinner. Overnight stay in Gangtok.

To watch the blaze of rapidly changing colors of the snow peaks as the sun strikes, set out early in the morning, before dawn (4 am), to the highest point in Darjeeling Tiger Hill (2590 m) – for views of a breathtaking sunrise and its reflection rays over the Kanchenjunga Ranges and other impressive Himalayan peaks.
