Day-wise Itinerary

Day 1: Arrival At Delhi & Proceed To Shimla

Arrival at Delhi & proceed to Shimla on the way visit Pinjore Garden and stay overnight at the hotel.

Day 2: Shimla Sightseeing

  • After Breakfast & procced to the famous hill spot of Kufri you can also higher horse at your own cost there itself to experience beauty of an Apple Garden or Tree , China peak.
  • And after that stop over at Sankat Mochan Temple on the way. Get yourself free to enjoy the scenic beauty. You can see prime places of Shimla like Church, Scandal point all point Mall road.
  • Mall road has famous for shopping and eating out at restaurants and later proceed to hotel for an overnight stay.

Day 3: Shimla To Manali

After Breakfast & proceed to Manali on the way visit Pandoh Dam, Hanogi Temple, Kullu Valley & Shawl Factory (River Rafting is on your own cost) and proceed to hotel for an overnight stay.

Day 4: Manali Sightseeing

  • After breakfast, walk through Manali town visiting newly constructed Buddhist Monastery and the handicraft centre.
  • After this visit the 450 years old temple dedicated to Hadimba Devi, Jagatsukh and Vashist kund. Hadimba Devi temple is small temple situated in the dense forest is very interesting.
  • Vashisht, an extremely picturesque little place clinging to the steep hill side. On the way up to the village you come upon the Vashist hot baths where a natural sulphur spring is piped into a modern bath-house.
  • Overnight stay at Hotel.

Day 5: Manali - Rohtang Pass - Manali (Own Cost)

  • After breakfast, proceed for a full day tour of Rohtang Pass. The majesty of the mountains and the glaciers can be seen here, you can enjoy this snowy heaven.
  • Take a sledge ride down the slopes, try your luck climbing the little snow hills.
  • On you’re descents to Manali, halt at the Rahalla falls and Solang Valley. You can do Paragliding (Optional) at Solang Valley, and take a Helicopter Ride (Optional) through the beautiful snow capped mountains. The Magnificent views and natural beauty are a never-ending source of delight. Also halt at Marhi, Rahala falls and Nehru Kund. Optional adventure activities at Solang Valley are Rapelling, Rock Climbing, River Crossing, Paragliding and Snow scooter fun-rides.
  • Return to Manali for Overnight stay.

Day 6: Manali To Dharamshala (240 Kms/approx 6.5 Hrs)

  • After breakfast, check-out from the hotel and drive to Dharamshala. This city, surrounded by dense coniferous forests from all sides, is located in the Kangra Valley. A walk in the lush green surroundings of this valley offers a delightful experience.
  • On arrival, check-in at the hotel and relax for some time.
  • Later embark on a sightseeing visit to the famous Tibetan Medical Centre, where treatment is done using rare Tibetan medicines.
  • St. John Church, which is one of the oldest churches of this region. It is widely acknowledged for its Belgian stained-glass windows, which were donated by Lady Elgin.
  • Other than these attractions, some other places to visit include Kangra Art Museum, Tea Gardens and Kunal Pathri Temple.
  • Overnight stay at Hotel.

Day 7: Dharamshala To Dalhousie (120 Kms/approx 3.5 Hrs)

  • After breakfast, check out from hotel & head towards Dalhousie. This small hill station, located in the northern side of Himachal Pradesh, is named after the British Governor-General, Lord Dalhousie. Located at an elevation of 2700 m above the sea level, this place offer sensational views of the surroundings.
  • On arrival at Dalhousie, check-in at the hotel and repose for some time. You can spend the entire day at leisure, as there are no activities scheduled for the day. You can visit its prominent attractions or go to nearby local markets to shop for local items or souvenirs for your loved ones.
  • Overnight stay at hotel.

Day 8: Dalhousie - Khajjiar - Dalhousie

  • After breakfast, proceed to Khajjiar often called India's Switzerland. Its one of the most scenic saucer shaped Plateau and is surrounded by dense pine and deodar forests. The exquisite glade of Khajjiar (1960m) has a circumference of about 5 km. Along its fringes, thick forests of deodar climb the slopes, the snow-line rests above these woods. At Khajjiar there is a 12th century temple dedicated to KhajjI Nag. Within the temple are life size wooden images of the five Pandav brothers. It’s beauty has further been enhanced by a small lake in the center with a floating island and 9-hole golf course here are the other interesting places to cover.
  • By evening return to Dalhousie for an overnight stay at Hotel.

Day 9: Dalhousie To Amritsar (200 Kms/4 Hrs)

  • After breakfast, checkout from Hotel & proceed for Amritsar by road.
  • On arrival checkin at hotel and later visit Indo-Pak Wagah Border to watch Flag Retreat Ceremony- Wagah, an army outpost on Indo-Pak border 30 Kms from Amritsar where the daily highlight is the evening “Beating the Retreat” ceremony. Soldiers from both countries march in perfect drill, going through the steps of bringing down their respective national flags. As the sun goes down, nationalistic fervour rises and lights are switched on marking the end of the day amidst thunderous applause.
  • Overnight stay at Hotel.

Day 10: Amritsar Sightseeing

  • After breakfast, start your full day city tour with the blessings of Golden Temple-the most important sikh shrine which is also called Mecca for the Sikhs is a living symbol of the spiritual and historical traditions of the Sikhs.
  • Later visit Jallianwala Bagh- where, on April 13, 1919, British and Gurkha soldiers opened fire on an unarmed forbidden gathering, killing hundreds of civilians.
  • Also, visit the Maharaja Ranjit Singh Summer Palace Museum - The summer place of Maharaja Ranjit Singh which is situated in the heart of Ram Bagh.
  • Overnight stay at hotel.

Day 11: Departure (470 Kms/approx 8 Hrs)

After breakfast, check out from hotel & transfer to Delhi Airport/railway station for departure, back to home with beautiful memories of a life time trip.
