About the tour
Capital of Meghalaya and home to the Khasis, Shillong is also known as the “Scotland of the East”. Shillong still retains influences of the British in its architecture, lifestyle and language. Shillong is the place where the British moved to after they found Cherapunji too wet. The rolling hills around the town reminded the European settlers of Scotland.

Day-wise Itinerary
ExpandDay 1: Arrival At Guwahati And Transfer To Shillong
Arrive Guwahati and transfer to Shillong. Transfer to hotel on arrival. Evening at leisure. Overnight stay at hotel
Day 2: Excursion To Cherapunjee And Back
Early morning drive to Cherapunjee. Enrooted we visit Shillong Peak, Elephant Falls. On arrival we visit Nohkalikai Falls, Mousamai cave, Ramakrishna Mission. Return to Shillong in the evening ,Overnight stay at hotel
Day 3: Shillong To Guwahati
After breakfast transfer to Guwahati. Enrooted visit Cathedral Church, Ward’s Lake, Lady Hydari Park. Arrive Guwahati and transfer to hotel. Afternoon proceed for Guwahati half day sightseeing visit the Kamakhya Temple. Overnight stay at hotel
Day 4: Departure From Guwahati
After breakfast, transfer to Guwahati airport for onward destination. Tour ends

- The tour cost is not refundable at any cause, once tour starts
- The tour guide reserves the rights to make changes/detour or omit any place of visit, if it becomes necessary due to bad weather, bad road, strike or band and security reason.

- Check in /Out time is 12 .00 hrs. If the Guests are coming by train to Guwahati Airport / station,
- please inform them that our office executive will be waiting for them at exit gate near enquiry counter.
