Day-wise Itinerary

Day 1: Arrival At Cochin And Transfer To Munnar

Pick up from Cochin airport or railway station and transfer to Munnar, one of the most beautiful hill station in South India. On the way visit Cheeyappara and Valara waterfalls. Overnight stay at resort or hotel.

Day 2: Munnar Sightseeing

After breakfast proceed for sightseeing of Munnar. Visit Eravikulam National Park, where you can see the rare species Nilgiri Tahr (mountain goats). Visit Mattupetty Dam which offers many fascinating sights to relish. Besides the lush green tea plantations and the rolling grasslands, the Shola forests in and around Mattupetty are ideal for trekking and are habitat to a variety of birds. Later visit Kundala Dam - Kundala is a picturesque town located at the confluence of three mountain streams namely Mudrapuzha, Nallathanni and Kundala. Enroute visit Echo Point, View Point and green carpet of Tea Gardens. Overnight stay at resort or hotel.

Day 3: Munnar To Thekkady

After breakfast proceed to Thekkady. It is famous for its dense evergreen, semi-evergreen, moist deciduous forests and savanna grass lands. Visit Periyar Wildlife Sanctuary, home to nomadic tribes of wild elephant, boar, deer, the great Indian tiger and more. Evening enjoy the boat cruise in the lake to watch wild animals. Overnight stay at Thekkady.

Day 4: Thekkady To Kumarakom

Proceed to Kumarakom, a small backwater village which lies along the backwaters of Kerala. With a bird sanctuary overlooking the Vembanad Lake. Here you can get a feel of the essence of a typical village life of Kerala. Overnight stay at resort.

Day 5: Kumarakom To Alleppey

After breakfast, check out from the hotel and proceed to Alleppey which has an immense natural beauty also known as the “Venice of the East” and its famous for backwater cruising and boat race. Check into your Houseboat and cruise through the Narrow Canal amidst the Paddy Fields, Coconut Lagoons and Coir Villages in Alleppey. Overnight stay at the houseboat.

Day 6: Alleppey To Kovalam

After the breakfast from the houseboat, proceed to Kovalam. On arrival check into hotel. Kovalam is one of the prime beach destinations in India. Enjoy the evening watching a spectacular sunset or swimming at the picturesque Kovalam Beach. Overnight stay at hotel.

Day 7: Kovalam Sightseeing

After breakfast explore different beaches of Kovalam. Kovalam is one of the prime beach destinations in India. Enjoy the evening watching a spectacular sunset or swimming at the picturesque Kovalam Beach. Overnight is to be spent at hotel.

Day 8: Kovalam To Kanyakumari

After breakfast proceed to Kanyakumari. Visit Vizhinjam Marine Aquarium, Padmanabhapuram Palace, Suchindram Temple finally visit Kanyakumari Beach. Padamanabhapuram is 45 Km from the town and is known for its fort which encloses a beautiful palace and a temple. The famous Vivekananda Rock Memorial, which protrudes into the ocean is one of the most visited attractions. After sunset return to hotel. Overnight stay at Kanyakumari.

Day 9: Kanyakumari To Trivandrum Departure

Check out from hotel and proceed to Trivandrum. On time transfer to airport or railway station to connect flight or train for your onward journey.
