About the tour
Popularly known as the Queen of Hills, Darjeeling is located in the Shivalik hills of the lower range of the Himalayas. Like most other hill stations in India, the British developed Darjeeling as a respite from the summer heat in the plains. The British loved the town for the complete rejuvenation package that it offered - serene atmosphere, view of the snowline, scented pines and a golden colored brew called the Darjeeling tea.

Day-wise Itinerary
ExpandDay 1: Arrival At New Jalpaiguri / Ixb To Kalimpong
On arrival at New Jalpaiguri Railway Station / IXB Airport you will be meet by our office Executive who will assist you to board your vehicle to Kalimpong. Overnight stay at hotel.
Day 2: Kalimpong To Gangtok
After breakfast start for sightseeing, visit Dello, Flower / Orchid Nursery, Dr. Grahams Home, Mangal Dham and Buddhist monastery, back to hotel for check-out and transfer to Gangtok. Overnight stay at Gangtok.
Day 3: Gangtok Sightseeing
After breakfast start for city tour, first half cover Hanuman Talk, Ganesh Talk and Tashi View Point, later proceed for rest of the points, that is the seven points - The Rumtek Monastery, Directorate of Handicrafts and Handlooms (Closed On Sunday), Cable Car ( Own Ticket ), Research Institute of Tibetology(Closed On Sunday), Do-Dul-Chorten (Stupa ) and flower show. Evening free for personal activities and shopping. Overnight stay at hotel.
Day 4: Excursion Visit Tsomgo Lake And Baba Mandir
A day excursion to Tsomgo Lake - situated at a height of 3,780 meters with an average depth of 50feet and Baba Mandir - The shrine maid in memory of sepoy Harbahajan Singh. Back to Gangtok evening free and overnight stay at hotel
Day 5: Gangtok To Darjeeling
After breakfast transfer to Darjeeling, It is one of the most magnificent hill resorts in the world. Rest of the day free for own activities. Overnight stay at hotel.
Day 06 : In Darjeeling
Early Morning at 0400 AM visit Tiger Hill, famous for sunrise over Mt. Kanchendzonga, on way back visit Ghoom Monastery, Batasia Loop and back to hotel. After breakfast proceed for visit 7 points, covering The Himalayan Mountaineering Institute and PNZ Zoological Park ( both closed on Thursday) Tenzing Rock, Tibetan Self Help Refuge Centre (closed on Sunday), Tea Garden (outer view), Japanese Temple, Peace Pagoda and Ropeway ( operational, ropeway ride charges to be paid by guest directly). Overnight stay at hotel.
Day 7: Darjeeling To New Jalpaiguri / Ixb
Morning free for packing and transfer to New Jalpaiguri station or Bagdogra airport for return journey – Tour Ends with sweet memories.

Expand- As per the government rule in one innova only 06 pax are allowed that is including child ,tata sumo/hard top jeep only 07 - 08 pax are allowed that is including child
- In case the number of pax travelling increases above 08, then the pax will have to opt for the 2nd (second) vehicle for which the supplement cost is extra, as per the above itinerary on point to point basis and not at disposal
- All prevailing State and Government taxes applicable on accommodation and transport. In case of any hike in the taxes a surcharge will be applicable
- Suggested hotels are subject to availability at the time of booking. In case the same is not available, then the best similar category will be provided
- The tour cost is not refundable at any cause, once tour starts
- The tour guide reserves the rights to make changes/detour or omit any place of visit, if it becomes necessary due to bad weather, bad road, strike or band and security reason
- Tourist will carry their luggage at own risk and responsibility : East Wind Holiday Tours Pvt. Ltd does not hold any responsibility for any loss of luggage during the tour
- Nathula Pass visit is only possible on Wednesday , Thursday, Friday , Saturday & Sunday with prior permission obtained 48 hrs in advance as per defense regulation Nathula is not advisable to guest having problem with blood pressure, knee and heart. Since Nathula is a restrict area any time army can seal for security reasons. In such case tour will only be till Tsomgo Lake
