About the tour

Port Blair is the largest city and the capital of the union territory of Andaman and Nicobar Islands, India. The city gets its name from Lieutenant Archibald Blair, who is said to have established a colony at its site in the year 1789. Notably, this town is home to the famous Cellular Jail National Memorial, which was formerly a jail where many freedom fighters were incarcerated at the time of Indian Independence Movement.

Day-wise Itinerary

Day 1: Arrival At Port Blair

  • Fly in to Port Blair Airport. Our representative will meet and assist you at the Veer Savarkar Airport. Board the waiting vehicles, drive to your hotel / resort, check in.
  • First half of the day is at leisure. Later in the afternoon visit Cellular jail followed by light and sound show. The Cellular Jail has a pride of place in India’s freedom struggle. Many a stalwart were imprisoned here. Declared a national memorial, this three storey prison constructed by Britishers in 1906, is a pilgrimage destination for freedom fighters. This colossal edifice has mutely witnessed the most treacherous of inhumane atrocities borne by the convicts, who were mostly freedom fighters.
  • The day draws to a gentle close with the Sound and Light Show at the historic Cellular Jail which gives you a vivid experience of its strong association with the freedom fighters and their struggle for independence. Overnight stay at the Hotel.

Day 2: Port Blair-ross Island -north Bay Island (Coral Island)

  • Today after breakfast embark on a day long two Island cruise. One of the most sought after activities. It covers a panorama of seven harbours that includes North Bay and Ross Island. It leaves a lasting impression.
  • Visit Ross Island. Once the administrative headquarters of the British and capital of these Islands, the island is now under the Indian Navy. It stands now as a ruin of the bygone days with the old structures almost in debris. There is a small museum named Smritika, it holds photographs and the other antiques of the Britishers relevant to these Islands. The Island is famous for friendly flocks of Deer and lush green walking trails.
  • North Bay, the water lovers may enjoy Snorkeling or take a glass bottom boat ride (Optional) in its shallow waters with a chance to see corals up close and also has mesmerizing picnic spots with natural picturesque environments Return to the hotel. Overnight stay at the Hotel.

Day 3: Port Blair - Mount Harriet

After Breakfast, we proceed for Mount Harriet, the highest peak in the South Andamans (365 metres high). During British Raj this highest peak was established as the summer headquarters of the Chief Commissioner during, this place is an ideal for a nice and fascinating over view of the outer Islands and the sea. Evening free for Shopping. Overnight at Port Blair.

Day 4: Port Blair - Neil Island

  • Today we start around 05:30/11:00 AM from Hotel and head to Phoenix Bay Jetty to catch ferry (SPEED BOAT) to Neil islands, on arrival our Representative will receive you and escort you to the Hotel, after check in and little relax; we head for Laxman Pur Beach and Sita Pur Beach and Howrah Bridge.
  • A marvelous Island with plenty of marine life. Neil Island is triangularly shaped with lust green surroundings of paddy fields, banana plantations and tropical trees. Many natural beaches and attraction like Howrah Bridge, a natural bridge formation makes this Island a much sought after picnic spot.
  • The sandy beaches at SitaPur and LaxmanPur are very attractive for spending holidays. Tourists who like to spend vacations in an eco-friendly locale will find this Island ideal. The breath-taking view of the sea and the lush greenery really rejuvenating and enjoyable for enthusiastic travellers. Overnight at Neil Island.

Day 5: Neil Island -havelock Island

  • Today after breakfast you will transfer to Jetty. Head to Havelock Island on board Cruise connecting the two islands! Havelock, about 54 kilometres northeast of Port Blair, the Island is a hidden jewel.
  • Few Indians know of this stunning beach destination in their own backyard while heading for Phuket (in Thailand) across the waters of Andaman Sea. Havelock is a serene tropical island encompassing about 86 square Kilometres. Its clear waters are rated among the best in the world for snorkeling and scuba diving. Close to 1000 different species of marine life inhabit the waters of the Andaman Islands.
  • Scuba divers can see nudi branches, sea slugs and snails, varieties of ghost pipe fish, jaw fish and a number of different crustaceans of all shapes and sizes. With its serene beaches, 40 meters visibility underwater, colourful coral reefs and ‘far from the maddening crowd’ appeal, Havelock Island has emerged as a dream destination among discerning travellers. Arrive at Havelock Jetty, you are met and assisted by our representative. Board the waiting vehicles and drive to the hotel. Check in at the hotel. After relaxation trip to Kalapathar Beach .Overnight stay at the Hotel.

Day 6: Havelock Island - Rangat - Diglipur

  • (Today We Start by 8:30 AM & Reach Rangat or Long Island Depending on the Routing of the Boat say you might reach around 12:00 Noon).
  • After Breakfast we will proceed to visit Rangat by boat and from there trip to Diglipur by Road. Overnight stay at Diglipur. We Will Reach Diglipur by 19:00 Hrs. to Diglipur.

Day 7: Diglipur

  • (Today We Start by 8:30 AM & Return back after 3 – 4 hrs. and Post lunch pay a visit to Kalpong Visit at Diglipur).
  • After breakfast we will proceed to visit Ross & Smith Island and from there we will move towards Kalpong River. Overnight stay at Diglipur.

Day 8: Diglipur - Port Blair

  • (Today We Start by 4:30 AM & Reach Port Blair by 17:30 PM)
  • Early morning departure by car from Diglipur to Port Blair Covering Baratang – Baratang is about 110 kms by road from Port Blair. Baratang provides an ideal place for the eco-friendly tourist seeking the solitude of virgin nature. The land route from Port Blair involves crossing of creeks and dense tropical rain forests. Visit rare Limestone Caves. Then, departure by car from Baratang for Port Blair (110 kms). The journey by Car, again through dense forests, takes around 4.5 hours to reach Port Blair in the evening.

Day 9: Departure
