Day-wise Itinerary

Day 1: Reach Leh (12th August 2014)

Your day starts today as you leave your work and worries behind as you catch the flight to Leh. Overnight in Leh

Day 2: Leh (13th August 2014)

Discover the monasteries of Indus Valley including Thiksey, Shey, Stok & Matho. Spend the evening discovering the local culture of Leh.

Day 3 : Leh – Nubra Valley ( Khardung La ) (14th August 2014)

Today we ride to the ancient Silk Route via the highest motorable road on earth (Khardungla 18384 feet) in the tour to ladakh. Visit the famous Deskit Gompa of Nubra Valley. Walk on the sand dunes and ride the double humped camel (Bactrian camels brought to Ladakh by ancient Silk Route traders). Night Stay in Nubra.

Day 4: Nubra – Leh (15th August 2014)

By late afternoon we come back to Leh and chill or roam around Shanti Stupa, Leh Palace & Leh Monastery.

Day 5: Leh- Pangong Tso (16th August 2014)

Discover the myriad colours and shades of Pangong lake. Leave Leh in the morning and cross the third highest motorable pass (Changla) on earth. Spend good 3–4 hours by the great Pangong, 2/3rd of which lies inside the China border. Overnight at Camps by the Pangong Lake.

Day 6: Pangong Tso – Leh (17th August 2014)

Wake up calls by the migratory birds this morning. Indulge in the walk beside the lake or go for your photography splurge. Arrive at Leh in second half. Evening free. Overnight in Leh .

Day 7: Leh – Delhi (18th August 2014)

At last ! the tour to ladakh comes to an end as you are transferred to the airport for your flight back home.
