About the tour
Sri Lanka is a green, fertile tropical island with palm fringed beaches, misty mountains and significant archaeology. Dotted with UNESCO World Heritage Sites, the tear drop shaped island of Sri Lanka has verdant jungle, ancient Buddhist temples, an average of eight hours sunshine a day and superb tea, ideally sipped in a colonial style guesthouse overlooking a hillside plantation. Fringing the coasts is an array of gently arcing golden sand beaches.

Day-wise Itinerary
ExpandDay 1: Arrive Airport And Transfer To Sigiriya Or Dambulla
Arrival at the airport and transfer to Sigiriya. Check in to the hotel. Later visit Sigiriya Rock Fortress. Evening at leisure. Dinner and overnight stay at the hotel in Sigiriya or Dambulla.
Day 2: Visit Sigiriya Or Dambulla
Breakfast at the hotel and visit the Heritance Kandalama hotel. After lunch proceed to visit the Dambulla Rock Temple, a temple with many caves built in different era’s by different kings. Return to the hotel for dinner and overnight stay at the hotel.
Day 3: Transfer To Kandy
Early morning after breakfast at the hotel, check out and transfer to Kandy. On arrival at Kandy, check in at the hotel. Later proceed to visit, Kandy city. Later we shall break for lunch at local restaurant and proceed to visit Temple of the Tooth founded in 1595. In the evening we shall return to the hotel to witness traditional Kandyan dance performance. Dinner and overnight stay at the hotel in Kandy.
Day 4: Kandy To Bentota
After breakfast check out and proceed to visit, Lankatilaka Temple and Gadaladeniya Temple. The Gadaladeniya Temple's design is of South Indian origin, the main shrine room has a seated Buddha statue and the remains of some paintings of the Gampola period. Lunch at a local restaurant. On arrival to Bentota check in at the hotel. Evening at leisure. If time permits visit Bentota Beach Hotel and Serendib Hotel. Later return to hotel for dinner and overnight stay at the hotel in Bentota.
Day 5: Bentota To Colombo
After breakfast, check out from hotel and drive to Colombo, enroute visit Lunuganga. Later proceed to Colombo. Check in at the hotel. Later visit Gangaramaya Buddhist Temple and Seema Malaka Temple. Later in the evening visit Geoffrey Bawa's Earlier Office and residence. Later time at leisure for shopping at the famous Colombo markets. Return to hotel for dinner and overnight stay at the hotel.
Day 6: Departure
Breakfast at the resort, check out and transfer to the airport for your flight.
