Glimpse Of Meghalaya -shillong- Cherrapunjee -guwahati

The tour starts from Guwahati on or before 0900 hours for approximately 4 hours drive to Shillong with a short break at the picturesque Umium Lake at Barapani. Check into your hotel. After refreshing yourself set out for a sightseeing tour of Shillong including the Shillong Peak, Elephant Falls, Wards lake and the Golf Course. Enjoy the evening at leisure or walk down to Police Bazar (closed on Sundays) for some amazing bargains. Stay overnight at Shillong.

After breakfast, set out for a day excursion to Cherrapunji – the wettest place on earth. Go caving at the Mawsmai Caves and stand in awe beside the majestic Nohkalikai Falls. Enjoy the beautiful sights in and around Cherrapuji and after lunch, proceed to Guwahati. Stay overnight at Guwahati.

Wake up early for a visit to the famous Shaktipeeth – the Kamakhya Temple. Comeback for breakfast and proceed to the airport / station for your onward journey. The tour ends here.
