Day 1: Arrival At Leh
Arrival Leh by morning flight and transfer to the hotel. Full day of rest for acclimatization to the high altitude of Leh (11,500 feet / 35 00 meters). Overnight stay at hotel.
Day 2: Leh Local Sightseeing
After leisurely breakfast, visit Shey Palace, Thiksey Monastery, Hemis Monastery and Stok Palace Museum. Overnight at the hotel.
Day 3: Leh To Pangong Lake Back To Leh
Full day excursion to Pangong Lake (approx. 300 kms round trip, located on the Indo-China Border), via Chang-la pass (alt: 17370 ft.). Pangong Lake (alt: 14,500 feet) is 4-5 kms wide and about 140 kms long, which about two-third lies on the other side of the Indo-China border. After sightseeing around the lake, drive back to Leh reaching in the late afternoon / evening and overnight stay at hotel.
Day 4: Leh To Alchi Likir Back To Leh
After leisurely breakfast, drive to visit 11th century Alchi Choskor, oldest surviving monastic heritage of Ladakh - a UNESCO listed heritage site. While returning to Leh from here, visit Sangam (confluence of Indus and Zanskar Rivers), Magnetic Point, Gurudwara Pathar Sahib, Kali Mata (Temple of Guardians in Spituk monastery) and Hall of Fame ( Museum of military Heritage). Overnight stay at hotel.
Day 5: Leh To Khardungla Back To Leh
Morning excursion to Khardong-La (80 kms round trip / alt: 18,380 ft.), highest motor-able pass in the world and recorded in the Guinness Book of World Records. Rest of the day free to explore the markets for shopping etc. Overnight in hotel.
Day 6: Drop To Leh Airport
Early morning transfer to the airport for taking the flight back home
