One of the biggest and most famous festivals of Ladakh opens today at Hemis Monastery – watch Cham dances, night stay in Leh. Discover the monasteries of Indus Valley including Thiksey& Shey.Spend the evening discovering the local culture of Leh.
Day 03: Leh – Nubra Valley (Khardung La) (8th July 2014)
Today in the delhi to ladakh package you drive towards the ancient Silk Route via the highest motorable road on earth (Khardungla 18384 feet). Visit the famous Deskit Gompa of Nubra Valley. Walk on the sand dunes and ride the double humped camel (Bactrian camels brought to Ladakh by ancient Silk Route traders). Night Stay in Nubra
Day 04: Nubra – Leh (9th July 2014)
By late afternoon we come back to Leh and chill or roam around Shanti Stupa, Leh Palace & Leh Monastery.
Day 05: Leh- Pangong Tso (10th July 2014)
Discover the myriad colours and shades of Pangong lake. Leave Leh in the morning and crossthe third highest motorable pass (Changla) on earth today in this delhi to ladakh package. Spend good 3–4 hours by the great Pangong, 2/3rd of which lies inside the China border. Overnight at Camps by the Pangong Lake
Day 06: Pangong Tso – Leh (11th July 2014)
Wake up calls by the migratory birds this morning. Indulge in the walk beside the lake or go for your photography splurge. Arrive at Leh in second half. Evening free. Overnight in Leh.
Day 07: Kalachakra (Leh) (12th July 2014)
Visit to the 33rd Kalachakra ceremony presided by His Highness Dalai Lama. The iniciation ceremony takes several days, the first day is for the preperations followed by two or three days of actual empowerment.
Day 08: Leh – Delhi(13th July 2014)
At last ! Your Delhi to Ladakh package comes to an end today as you are transferred to the airport for your flight back to Delhi
