It is situated at a distance of just 10 Kms from Geyzing which is the district headquarters. Being nestled beautifully in the grand Himalayas, tourists throng the place in search of peace, tranquility and scenic beauty.
Day 1: Arrive Gangtok
Arrival at New Jalpaiguri Railway Station / Bagdogra Airport. Transfer to Gangtok (5500 ft /130 kms / 04 hrs) and check in at the hotel. Visit M.G. Marg by walking and evening individual activities. Overnight stay at Gangtok.
Day 2: Gangtok Full Day Tour
After breakfast you will start your full day Gangtok tour which will cover Tashi View Point, Ganesh Tok, Hanuman Tok, Flower show, Cottage Industry and Handicraft Centre, Institute of Tibetology (Closed on Sunday and govt. holidays), Directorate of Handicrafts and Handloom (Closed on Sunday and Govt. Holidays), Dro-dul Chorten, Nam Nang View Point (Ropeway on direct payment basis), Burtuk Falls, Ranka Monastery, Enchey Monastery and Banjakhri Falls. Evening back to hotel. Overnight stay at Gangtok.
Day 3: Tsomgo Lake And Baba Mandir
After breakfast depart for full day excursion trip to Tsomgo Lake (12400 ft) and Baba Harbhajan Singh Mandir which is only 32 km. from Gangtok. The lake is about 1 km long, oval in shape and 15 mtrs deep. The lake is considered sacred by the local people. Spend the evening at Gangtok for shopping and individual activity. Overnight stay at Gangtok. (In case of Land slide or any reason Tsomgo Lake is closed we will provided alternate sightseeing).
Day 4: Gangtok To Pelling
After breakfast transfer to Pelling (6000 ft / 118 kms / 04 hrs). Check in at the hotel. Evening free at leisure. Overnight at hotel.
Day 5: Pelling Full Day Tour
After breakfast we drive to Yuksom (5840 Ft / 1780 Mts, 35 Kms / 02 Hrs). On the way panoramic sightseeing of Darap Village, Rimbi Water fall and Hydro Project, Khecheopalri Lake (6000 Ft / 1829 Mts), it is one of the sacred Buddhist mountain lake and it is believed that whatever is wished in front of the lake comes true. Myth is that when a leaf falls on the placid clear water surface, it is picked by a bird and Kanchenjunga Water fall. The routes are forested and the botanical and zoological richness is inspiring. A further drive takes you to Yuksom (the meeting place of three monks) - the first capital of Sikkim, Sewaro Rock Garden, Rimbi water Falls and Khachoedpalri Lake, Pemayangtse Monastery, Rabdentse Ruins and New Helipad Ground. This was the place where the first Chogyal (a ruling dynasty in Sikkim) was crowned. Evening back to Pelling and overnight at hotel.
Day 6: Pelling To Kalimpong Half Day Sightseeing
After breakfast drive to Kalimpong. 65 kilometers nearly 1 ½ hours to 2 hours drive. Kalimpong situated on the foothills of the Himalayas is a green destination at an altitude of 1243 meters / 4078 feet. It is a historical destinations with bustling market, colorful people and offers spectacular views of the Himalayan range - The scenic beauty on the way are beautiful and there are lot of shops selling antics and local handicraft worth buying. Check into hotel. Later cover your half day with Dello hills, Jelapla View Point, Pine View Point, Chitra Bhanu and Kalim Temple, Jang-Dong-Palriffo Brang, Durbin Dara Hills, Flower Nurseries, Dr Graham's Homes complex with its historic church and well maintained grounds founded in 1900 by Rev. Dr. J A Graham, a Scottish missionary, Delo Hill (5556 ft) appears to be the roof- of- the- world, is the highest point in Kalimpong. The scenic beauty on the way are beautiful and there are lot of shops selling antics and local handicraft worth buying. Overnight stay at Kalimpong.
Day 7: Departure
After breakfast, transfer to New Jalpaiguri railway station / Bagdogra airport (125 kms / 05 Hrs) for your onward journey.
