About the tour
Undoubtedly one of the most tranquil regions in India, Leh-Ladakh is beautiful and mysterious. From soaring palaces on craggy peaks to beautiful monasteries with simple designs, this is truly a unique world. Few places in India are at once so traveller-friendly and yet so enchanting and hassle-free as mountain-framed Leh. Dotted with stupas and crumbling mud-brick houses, the Old Town is dominated by a dagger of steep rocky ridge topped by an imposing Tibetan-style palace and fort.

Day-wise Itinerary
ExpandDay 01: Arrival At Chandigarh To Manali
On arrival pick up from Chandigarh and transfer to Manali ( 350 km/9 hrs).Overnight stay at Manali.
Day 02: Manali To Sarchu
Early morning drive to Sarchu, driving across Rohtang Pass (13050 ft) and passing through Keylong, Jispa and Dracha and then cross the Baralacha Pass (16020 ft) to arrive at Serchu in the late afternoon. Overnight stay at Sarchu.
Day 03: Sarchu To Leh
After early breakfast leave for Leh en-route crossing Nakeela and Lachalung-la Pass (16,617 ft.). Break for lunch at Pang and then drive on towards Leh passing through Skyangchu Thang (a vast plateau stretching for 42 kms) and then crossing Taglang-La (17,585ft) and driving through the upper Indus Valley. Reach Leh by evening. Overnight stay at Leh.
Day 04: Leh Sightseeing Tour
The morning is at leisure for rest after the long journey. Afternoon visit Shanti Stupa. Overnight stay at Leh.
Day 05: Leh To Pangong Lake
Early departure for Pangong Lake (approx. 145 kms, located on the Indo China Border), via Chang-la pass (alt: 17370 ft). After full day of sightseeing around the Lake check-in at fixed tented camp near the lake at Spangmik or drive back for 30 kms to Tangtse and check into Hotel / Guest House for overnight stay at Pangong.
Day 06: Pangong-hemis / Thiksey-leh
After breakfast, leave Pangong / Tangtse and retrace the Leh route across Chang-la. Upon reaching Karu, drive across the Indus and visit the famous Hemis Monastery, biggest monastery of Ladakh. Later drive on to Leh, enroute visiting the picturesque Thiksey monastery. Overnight stay at Leh.
Day 07: Leh To Nubra Valley
After breakfast leave for Nubra Valley, driving across Khardong-la (alt: 18,380 ft). After descending from the pass, drive on for sightseeing of Sumoor area and Samstaling Gompa. Later check into a fixed camp in the same area or drive across to Deskit / Hundar for overnight stay at Nubra Valley
Day 08: Nubra Valley To Leh
In the morning visit / explore Deskit , Hundar and the Sand Dunes where you can enjoy a short camel safari using the double-humped Bactrian camel found here (optional on direct payment). Later drive back to Leh reaching in the late afternoon / evening. Overnight stay at Leh.
Day 09: Departure From Leh
Early morning transfer to the airport for taking the flight back home.

Terms and Conditions
Expand- Sequence of the day-wise tour program as listed above may change depending upon availability of suitable accommodation at different places and other travel conditions
- Overnight staying options at Pangong Lake & Tsomo-riri Lake are mainly in tented accommodation/standard cottage with basic & limited facilities. Visitors must be prepared to pass the night at a place where temperature may be quite low even at the height of the summer. The stress of passing the night at high altitude is also to kept in mind
- Overnight staying option in the Uleytokpo, Nubra Valley is mainly in tented accommodation or standard hotels with facilities which may not be of the same standard as in the hotels being used for the package in Leh
- All prevailing State and Government taxes applicable on accommodation and transport. In case any hike in the taxes a surcharge will be applicable
- Suggested hotels are subject to availability at the time of booking. In case the same is not available, then the best similar category will be provided
- The tour cost is not refundable at any cause, once tour starts. No refund on un-utilized services of the packages. Places / sites not visited as per the given tour route of the day, the same spot will not be revisited on guest’s request except on extra payment
- The tour guide reserves the rights to make changes/detour or omit any place of visit, if it becomes necessary due to bad weather, bad road, strike or band and security reason
- Tourist will carry their luggage at own risk and responsibility
- Itinerary may change due to any climatic condition / non availability of rooms /other natural circumstances
- Ladakh is high Altitude destination; hence Ladakh trip is not recommended for people with poor heart condition, Epilepsy and asthma
- Ladakh holiday trip is completely different from other holiday, please realize the hazards involved in this kind of holiday; including injury, disease, inconvenience and discomfort due to weather, mechanical breakdown, local political conditions or other unforeseeable circumstances
- In Tent accommodation maximum 03 pax are allowed due to limited space
- The tourism infrastructure of Ladakh region is not very advanced & one should not expect & match the hotel & transport service with the plains & other developed destinations. Flexibility is the whole philosophy of this type of tour. One requires and allows on trip alternatives due to untoward reasons
