About the tour
This tour follows the old trade route in and out of Ladakh. It covers Pangong Lake which was an ingress points from the Tibetan trade markets. Alchi is a busy village in Leh and is located on the banks of the Indus River and is included in the Leh Tours. It is also famous for the several monasteries.

Day-wise Itinerary
ExpandDay 01: Srinagar To Kargil 204 Kms / 6-7 Hrs
Morning After breakfast leave for Kargil, by visiting Sonamarg (Known As Meadow of Gold), cross famous Zodjila pass, Drass Village (2nd Coldest Inhabitant place in the World). En-route have a magnificent view of Kargil war Famous Peaks (Tiger, Tololing) from Vijay war memorial hall site, reach Kargil by evening. Overnight at Kargil.
Day 02 : Kargil To Alchi 158 Kms / 5-6 Hrs
Morning after breakfast leave for Ule, en-route visit Mulbek, Giant Living Buddha Sculpture on Rock Mountain, Lamayuru, one of the oldest Monastery of Ladakh and enjoy the view of Moon Landscape. Arrive Ule by afternoon. Overnight at Alchi.
Day 03 : Alchi To Leh 72 Kms / 3-4 Hrs
After breakfast leave for Leh en-route visit Alchi, Likir Monastery, Magnetic Hill, Pathar Sahib Gurudwara and Hall of Fame museum. Reach Leh by afternoon. Overnight at Leh.
Day 04 : Leh To Pangong Lake 140 Kms / 4-5 Hrs
After breakfast leave for Pangong Lake 14,500 ft, through Changla Pass 17,350 ft. (third Highest Motorable road in the world) Arrival at Camp, Hot Lunch will be served aat Camp, Later free time at Leisure and enjoy the color changing lake and the sun set on the banks of lake. Overnight on the banks of Pangong Lake.
Day 05 : Pangong Lake To Leh 140 Kms / 4-5 Hrs
Early morning enjoy the picturesque view of Sun rise on lake. After breakfast drive back to Leh, en-route visit Hemis, Thikse Monastery and Shey Palace. Ovrenight at Leh.
Day 06 : Leh To Nubra Valley 120 Kms / 4-5 Hrs
After Breakfast drive to Nubra Valley via Khardungla (Highest Motorable road in the World, 18,380 ft) Arrive at Hundur by afternoon. Lunch at Camp, rest of the day one is free to explore Deskit, Hunder Villages and camel Safari in Sand Dunes between Deskit and Hunder Village. Overnight at Nubra Valley.
Day 07 : Nubra Valley To Leh 120 Kms / 4-5 Hrs
After Breakfast visit Deskit Monastery, where you can have a magnificent view of Nubra Valley and drive back to Leh by same Route, crossing Khardungla Pass. Overnight at Leh.
Day 08 : Leh To Delhi
Early morning transfer to Leh airport to board flight back to destination. Journey ends with Sweet Memories of Ladakh.
