About the tour
Kalimpong is in Darjeeling district in the northern part of West Bengal, India. There are some really interesting places to visit such as Gauripur House (home of the great Bengali poet Ravindra Nath Tagore), Mangal Dham a temple, Deolo the highest point in Kalimpong offering a guest house with spectacular vistas. Biking is possible as the traffic is not intense and its really enjoyable to view the beautiful scenery and the kindhearted people living in the outskirts.

Day-wise Itinerary
ExpandDay 1: Arrival At New Jalpaiguri Railway Station / Bagdogra Airport And Transfer To Darjeeling
Meet and greet on arrival at New Jalpaiguri railway station or Bagdogra airport and transfer to Darjeeling. On arrival check into hotel and rest of the day at leisure. Overnight stay at Darjeeling.
Day 2: Darjeeling Sightseeing
Early morning drive to Tiger hill to watch the spectacular sunrise over Mount Khangchendzongha (28,208 ft. Worlds 3rd highest peak). On your way back visit Ghoom Monastery and Batasia Loop. After breakfast visit Himalayan Mountaineering Institute, Padmaja Naidu Himalayan Zoological Park (Thursday closed), Tenzing Rock, Tibetan Refugee self help Centre (Sunday closed), Tea Garden (outer view), Ropeway and Japanese Temple. Evening free for shopping or leisure. Overnight stay at Darjeeling.
Day 3: Darjeeling To Kalimpong
After breakfast transfer to Kalimpong. On arrival check into your hotel. After lunch enjoy half day tour of Kalimpong, visit Mangal Dham, Deolo Hill, Dr. Graham’s Home, Durbin Dhara Hills and Flowers Nurseries. Overnight stay will be at Kalimpong.
Day 4: Kalimpong To Gangtok
After breakfast transfer to Gangtok. On arrival check into your hotel. Afternoon proceed for a half day city tour visiting Flower show, Cottage Industry and Handicraft Centre, Institute of Tibetology, Dro-dul Chorten, Enchey Monastery and Banjakhri Falls (maximum 3-4 hours). Overnight stay at Gangtok.
Day 5: Excursion To Tsomgo Lake And Baba Mandir
After breakfast start for an excursion to Tsomgo Lake (12,400 ft.) and Baba Mandir (13,200 ft.) which is 55 kms from Gangtok city. Overnight stay at Gangtok. (In case of Land slide or any other reason Tsomgo Lake is closed we will provided alternate sightseeing)
Day 6: Departure
After breakfast check out from hotel and take the departure transfer to New Jalpaiguri Railway Station or Bagdogra airport for your onward journey.
