About the tour
Kaluk is the buffer zone area of famous Bersay Rhadodendron Sanctuary. The area is gifted with abundant natural resources and its a paradise for nature lovers. It is mainly surrounded by small hamlets of Lepcha tribals and their culture, tradition and life style are still well preserved. Besides this, a fairly large number of Gurungs, Rais and other communities are also living together in peace and harmony. This area has got significant historical, cultural, natural and religious importance.

Day-wise Itinerary
ExpandDay 1: Arrival At New Jalpaiguri Railway Station / Bagdogra Airport
On arrival in New Jalpaiguri railway station / Bagdogra airport, you will be meet by our representative and be transferred to Kaluk. Check into to the village resort and relax and spend the evening in the lap of the Himalayan nature. Overnight stay at the village resort in Kaluk.
Day 2: Kaluk To Rinchenpong
Post breakfast proceed for a local sightseeing tour by visiting Rinchenpong village and monastery, Hee and Bermiok village and Singshore bridge (which is the highest suspension bridge in Asia). Later return back to the village resort and evening is free for leisure. Overnight stay at the village resort .
Day 3: Kaluk To Darjeeling
Morning enjoy a nature walk around the pristine natural beauty of Kaluk. Afternoon transfer to Darjeeling, on arrival check into the hotel and spend the evening in leisure. Overnight stay in Darjeeling.
Day 4: Darjeeling Sightseeing
Early morning visit Tiger Hill to see a beautiful sunrise and capture the breathtaking sight of Kanchenjunga and Mount Everest etc. One can see the horizon changing colors just before sunrise and then the entire Himalayan range turns golden. Also visit Ghoom Monastery, the oldest monastery in the area which was built in 1875. Have a sumptuous breakfast at the hotel and proceed for city tour, visit the Himalayan Mountaineering Institute (closed on Thursday) which was started by Tenzing Norgay after he climbed Mountv Everest. Also visit the Zoological Park (closed on Thursday), Tibetan Refugee Centre (closed on Sunday), Tenzing Rock, Gombu Rock and Happy Valley Tea Estate (from outside). Later return to the hotel for an overnight stay.
Day 5: Darjeeling To New Jalpaiguri Railway Station / Bagdogra Airport
Post breakfast transfer to New Jalpaiguri railway station / Bagdogra airport for your onward journey with unforgettable memories of eastern Himalaya.
