Day 1: Arrival At Rome

Arrive into Rome. On arrival you will be transferred to your hotel. Rome is more than a fascinating European capital city; it is a spectacular encyclopedia of living history. The whole experience of Rome is so powerful as to be almost overwhelming at times.

Day 2: Rome Open Bus Tour (Seat In Coach)

Today, explore Rome at your own pace on an extensive hop-on hop-off itinerary through the heart of Rome. The buses are open top which allows you to enjoy a full 360 degree panoramic views as you travel along your route, with commentary in 6 languages, and departures every 15 minutes. Your ticket allows you 17 stops in the most beautiful, cultural and evocative areas of the Eternal city. See major sights such as the Trevi Fountain, Pantheon, Vatican City, Colosseum, Arch of Constantine, Palatine Hill, Piazza Venezia and lots more.

Day 3: Rome - Florence

This morning, transfer from your hotel to train station in Rome train. Travel by train to Florence, the birthplace of Renaissance. Also known as the city of Lily, the fame of Florence rests on its age-old image as the Italian hub of Renaissance art and architecture in Europe. With statues and sculptures dotting the piazzas, domes and towers surpassing the height of the sky, palatial palazzo dominating the cityscape, Florence is a beautiful gallery full of gleam and glory, in itself.

Day 4: Open Bus Tour Of Florence

There is no better way to see Florence than on this hop-on and hop-off double-decker bus. Stops along the tour route include the Cathedral, Santa Croce, San Marco, Piazzale Michelangelo and much, much more! Hop-on and off as many times as you like for a full day of sightseeing! Day 5: Florence - Venice

  • This morning, transfer from to train station in Florence. Travel to the magical city of Venice by train. Venice is just as romantic and beautiful as it looks in travelogues and movies. The piazzas and singing gondoliers, the idiosyncratic buildings and water taxis are all there to be seen, admired and photographed for posterity.
  • On arrival at Venice, proceed to your hotel.

Day 6: Excursion To Murano, Burano & Torcello

This morning, enjoy an excursion to Murano, Burano & Torcello. Boarding a comfortable motor boat, you'll speed along the Venetian lagoon to Murano, famous for its glassware. During the visit you'll explore shops, factories and watch the skilled glass-blowers as they create works of art. You'll also have time to visit a museum showcasing the world-famous Murano glass. Re-board your motor boat you'll journey to the island of Burano to admire picturesque fishermen's houses painted in bright pastel colors, and, of course, the famous lace. You can visit a museum dedicated to the craft of lace, and purchase the beautiful lace at local shops. The last island stop is Torcello, the earliest center of civilization in the Venetian lagoon. You'll see the cathedral of Santa Maria Assunta, founded in the 7th century, and the excavated remains of the circular baptistery in the church of Santa Fosca.

Day 7: Departure Back Home

In morning take train back to Rome to catch flight back home & transfer from Rome station to airport.
