Day-wise Itinerary

Day 1: Arrival At Jammu Railway Station / Airport

Reach Jammu by Railway Station / Airport; leave for Katra (50 Kms/1 Hr 30 mins). Check in at Hotel, day free for leisure. Overnight at Katra.

Day 2: Transfer To Katra

After breakfast reach for your Helicopter Ride/Pony/Walk (13.5 Kms one way) to take the Blessings of Mata Vaishanav Devi, return back evening free for leisure & shopping. Overnight at Katra.

Day 3: Transfer To Patnitop

Transfer to Patnitop (95 kms - 3 hrs - 6000 ft asl), a relaxing hill station offering excellent views. Just walk around enjoy views around the area. Evening visit to Sanasar (20 kms - 1 way).

Day 4: Patnitop Sightseeing

Sightseeing / temple visit options around Patnitop comprise Manatalai, Gauri kund, Sansar (if not visited the previous day), Sudh Mahadev, The Naag Temple etc.

Day 5: Transfer To Pahalgam

After breakfast leave for Pahalgam (175 Kms/3 ½ Hrs). On the way visit the Mamaleshwar Mandir. The valley offers breathtaking panoramic views of the beautiful Himalayan Ranges. Check in at Hotel; visit Kolhoi Glacier, Nature walk in and around the Aru village. Spend the entire day in exploring unseen places like Shehsnag river, Tulian lake etc or can go for white water rafting (Optional) on Lidder River. The serene lakes and the amazing scenic beauty of Pahalgam will truly take you to heaven. Overnight at Pahalgam.

Day 6: Pahalgam Sightseeing

Head for your sightseeing tour of Pahalgam today and you can explore oodles of natural treasures and relish their tranquil essence throughout. One can explore tourist attractions such as Chandanwari, Betaab Valley, Aru Valley. Chandanwari is the starting point of the renowned pilgrimage, Amarnath Yatra and is an extremely beautiful spot with emerald hues and serenity. Several adorable picnic spots are spread all around River Liddar where one can relax and rejoice amidst nature is bounty.

Day 7: Pahalgam- Srinagar

Post breakfast on this day guests will proceed on a journey back to Srinagar. On arrival check-in a hotel for your stay in the town and next, set on sightseeing tour of the Shankaracharya Temple. Lined with mighty chinar trees, overlooking the scintillating waters of Dal Lake and marked by ornamental fountains, Nishat Bagh sings the saga of impressive Mughal architecture. Built in the 11th Century, the Shiva temple is built of rock stone and overlooks the Dal Lake. Dating back to 200 B.C.E. the temple was demolished and the one which now exists is its reformed version built in 9th century C.E.

Day 8: Srinagar Sightseeing

The day is dedicated to a tour of Mughal Gardens. Built by Asaf Khan, the brother -in- law of Jehangir in 1632 AD the name of the garden means ?Garden of Delight? and even today the sheer sight of the park has the ability of filling the onlooker?s heart with pleasure. Other beauteous Mughal Gardens to be visited in the region are Shalimar Bagh and Chashme Shahi. The graceful garden adorning another side of Dal Lake is a gorgeous panorama embellished with artificial streams, terraced landscape, Mughal pavilions full of emerald hues. In the vicinity also visit the hillside temple of Shankaracharya. Built in the 11th Century, the Shiva temple is built of rock stone and overlooks the Dal Lake. At a little extra cost you can also enjoy a romantic Shikara ride on immensely beautiful Dal Lake.

Day 9: Srinagar - Gulmarg - Srinagar

  • After breakfast, proceed to Gulmarg (set on an altitude of 2730 mts above sea level) driving past willow trees, fast flowing streams and lush green meadows. Gulmarg - the meadow of flowers is an apt term for this idyllic flower-laden meadow offering a spectacular view of towering snow-capped peaks covered with dense forests of tall conifers and gigantic fir and pine trees.
  • In the evening return back to Houseboat for overnight stay.

Day 10: Srinagar Houseboat

Enjoy your stay in Houseboat. Rest of the day is free for you to either do shopping or spend on your own.

Day 11: Departure From Srinagar

After breakfast get transfer to Srinagar airport for further next destination back Home with sweet memories.
