Ladakh Odyssey Tour

Arrival Leh in the morning and transfer to the hotel. Full day of rest for acclimatization to the high altitude of Leh (11,500 feet / 3500 meters). Overnight stay at hotel.

After leisurely breakfast, visit Shey Palace, Thiksey Monastery, Hemis Monastery and Stok Palace Museum. Overnight at the hotel.

After breakfast leave for Nubra Valley, driving across Khardong-la (alt: 18,380 feet). After descending from the pass, drive on for sightseeing of Sumoor area. Later check into a fixed camp in the same area or drive across to Deskit for overnight stay in a camp.

In the morning visit / explore Deskit, Hundar and the Sand Dunes where you can enjoy a short camel safari using the double-humped Bactrian camel found here (optional on direct payment). Later drive back to Leh, reaching in the late afternoon / evening. Overnight at the hotel.

Full day excursion to Pangong Lake (approx. 300 kms round trip, located on the Indo-China Border), via Chang-la pass (alt: 17370 feet.). Pangong Lake (alt: 14,500 feet) is 4-5 kms wide and about 140 kms long, which about two-third lies on the other side of the Indo-China border. After sightseeing around the lake, drive back to Leh reaching in the late afternoon / evening. Overnight in hotel.

• After leisurely breakfast, drive to visit 11th century Alchi Choskor, oldest surviving monastic heritage of Ladakh - a UNESCO listed heritage site. While returning to Leh from here, visit Sangam (confluence of Indus and Zanskar Rivers), Magnetic Point, Gurudwara Pathar Sahib, Kali Mata (Temple of Guardians in Spituk monastery) and Hall of Fame ( Museum of military
• Heritage ). Overnight stay at hotel.

Early morning transfer to the airport for taking the flight back home with sweet memories.
