India’s North East is a land of undulating hills and plains with luxuriant green cover and a wide variety or rare and exotic flora and fauna. The Bramhaputra valley with its near tropical climate is a fertile plain on the basin of one of the largest rivers of the world. The hilly terrain of the region ranges from Nagaland in the east to the Meghalaya in the west the Mizoram lies in the south while in the north lies the Arunachal Pradesh extends to the snow-clad ridges of the great Himalayas.
Day 1: Arrival At Guwahati And Transfer To Kaziranga
Meet and assist by The Cat Holidays representative at the Guwahati Airport or Railway Station and transfer to Kaziranga National Park, the home of "One Horned Rhinoceros". Arrive and check in at your hotel. Evening free for leisure or explore the local market. Overnight stay in Kaziranga. Optional: Bihu Dance could be organized on request.
Day 2: Visit Kaziranga National Park
Early morning explore any one zone of Kaziranga National Park on back of Elephant i.e. Elephant Safari (Optional: Unless it is mentioned in the inclusion). Get up early morning at 5.30 AM and start for both central range ‘Kohora’ and western range ‘Bagori’. At 6:30 AM return to the hotel or resort for breakfast. After breakfast take little rest in the resort or hotel. Afternoon around 01.45 PM you have Jeep safariI in Central range. Optional: Bihu Dance could be organized on request in the evening. Note: The Park is open during the winter months of the dry season from the beginning of November to the end of April. Overnight at hotel.
Day 3: Kaziranga To Nameri
After breakfast, transfer to Nameri. On the way to Nameri you will be visiting Tezpur. Tezpur is the city of blood and has a magnificent scenic beauty boasting of Art, Culture and Literature. Visit the Bamuni Hills, The Hazara Pukhmi, Cole Park and Agnigarh. Overnight in Nameri.
Day 4: Visit Nameri National Park
After breakfast choose between trekking or rafting. You can go for trekking in the range with a forest guard or later you can go for rafting in Jia Bhorali. Visit Nameri National Park. Another important wild life sanctuary of Arunachal Pradesh The Pakhui (Pakke) wild life Sanctuary adjoins the Park on its North-Eastern point. The river Jia- Bhoroli and its tributaries namely the Diji, Dinai, Doigurung, Nameri, Dikorai, and Kharietc crisscross the park. Enjoy rafting in the Jia Bhoroli river in the south western boundary. Overnight at Nameri.
Day 5: Nameri To Manas National Park
After breakfast choose between trekking or rafting. You can go for trekking in the range with a forest guard or later you can go for rafting in Jia Bhorali. Later leave for Manas National Park. Overnight at Manas National Park.
Day 6: Manas National Park
After morning breakfast today you will go for Elephant Safari in the morning and later Jeep safari. Early morning explore the pristine beauty and wilderness of the jungle on the back of an Elephant (for one hour) in the Bansbari range of the park. Afternoon go for a Jeep Safari in the most beautiful point of Manas National Park. You could also have an experience of Night Safari while returning back to your lodge or late afternoon you can visit nearby local ethnic Villages. Night halt in Manas.
Day 7: Manas To Guwahati
After breakfast, leave to Guwahati. After arriving sightseeing in Guwahati. Visit numerous temples like Maa Kamakhya Temple, Sukreshwar Temple, Umananda Temple, Navagraha Temple, Bashistha Ashram, Tirupathi Balaji Temple and many more. Visit the Second world war Cemetery, State Museum, State Zoo and Srimanta Sankardeva Kalakshetra (A museum of Assam diverse culture) and Science Museum beside the temples. Overnight at Guwahati. Optional: Boat Cruise at Brahmaputra River in the evening.
Day 8: Excursion To Sualkuchi
After breakfast, excursion to Sualkuchi. Sualkuchi is one of the world's largest weaving villages often called the Manchester of the East. Later come back and sightseeing in Guwahati. Overnight in Guwahati Hotel.
Day 9: Excursion To Hajo
Day 10: Departure
After breakfast, return back to Guwahati Airport or Railway station for your departure. Your tour ends here with pleasant memories.
