Situated on the banks of the river Sabarmati, Ahmedabad is one of the most important cities in Western India. Ahmedabad is believed to have been inhabited from the beginning of the 11th century. It was named Ahmedabad by Sultan Ahmed Shah who fortified the city in 1411. Historically known as Nawanagar, Jamnagar was a very important princely state in the Saurashtra region. It is believed that Lord Krishna has established his kingdom at Dwarka town in the Jamnagar district after leaving Mathura.

Day 1: Pick Up From Ahmedabad Airport

Arrive Ahmedabad Airport / Railway station Departure to Rajkot en-route visit Lothal (260 Kms. / 5 Hrs.) - Lothal literally “mound of the dead”, is the most extensively excavated site of Harappan site in India and therefore allows the most insight into the story of the Indus Valley civilization, its exuberant flight, and its tragic decay. Visiting places at Rajkot: If time permits, visit - Swamy Narayan temple: It has been built out of hand carved stones and the temple is renowned worldover for its social work and humanitarian services. Ishwarya Temple, Panch Nath Mahadeo temple, Ramakrishna Ashram, Asharamji Bapu Ashram, Rotary Mid Town Dolls Museum.

Day 2: Ahmedabad To Dwarka

  • Today after breakfast proceed to Dwarka.
  • Afternoon proceed to visit Nageshwar and Bet Dwarka Rukmani Temple. The visit of Dwarka is not complete without a visit to Bet Dwarka.
  • Bet Dwarka, popularly known as the ‘kingdom of Lord Krishna’ is a small island situated some 30 miles away from Dwarka. It is a wonderful place for a trip with friends and family as well as for a pilgrimage. The ride to Bet Dwarka from Dwarka is fun-filled and full of excitementan island at a distance of 30 Kms. Off the coast of Okha port, At Bet, there are temples of Vishnu (in the form of 'matsya'), Radha, Lakshmi, Satyabhama, Jambuvanti and Devaki.
  • A ferry ride from Dwarka to the island of Bet near Okha makes a pleasant outing. We will then visit Gomati Village, Gomati Talab and Gomati Mandir. Overnight stay at Dwarka.

Day 3: Dwarka To Porabandar

After breakfast departure to Porbandar (105 Kms. / 2 Hrs) visit Birth place of Mahatma Gandhi (Kirti Mandir), Sudama Temple. Later on drive to Somnath (135 Kms. / 3 Hrs.) - Transfer to Hotel for fresh up and then Temple darshan. Evening have a fun in Saurashta Beach.

Day 4: Porabandar To Sasangir

After breakfast, departure to Sasangir (50 Kms. / 1hr.) and visit Sasangir safari park. Later proceed for local sight seeing Fort, Girnar Hills at Junagadh (55 Kms. / 1 hr). Check into Hotel.

Day 5: Sasangir To Gondal

  • After breakfast, departure to Gondal (65 Kms. / 1.5 Hrs.)Gondal has a heritage of art and literature. It is birthplace of poets, singers and artists like Pankaj Udhas, Manhar Udhas, Nirmal Udhas, Dhumaketu, Makarand Dave, Sairam Dave, Vipul Mangukiya and Atul Pandya.
  • Visit Naulakha palace and the famous Temple of Swaminarayan and then departure to Ahmedabad (250 Kms. / 6 Hrs).

Day 6: Departure

After breakfast, enjoy local sightseeing including and visit to Akshardham Temple at Gandhinagar (30 Kms). Evening transfer to Airport/Railway station.
