Shillong, the capital city of Meghalaya, is the preferred destination for those who thirst for natural beauty. The city, situated in the northeastern part of India, is also famous as the "Scotland of the East". Cherrapunjee comes alive during the monsoon months with the clouds hugging and kissing the Khasi Hills and the deluge giving birth to many waterfalls.

Day-wise Itinerary
ExpandDay 01: Guwahati – Shillong ( Assam – Meghalaya )
Arrive Guwahati airport and drive to Shillong (140 kms / 4 hrs drive approx). Check-in Hotel and after refreshment time permits we visit Cathedral of Marry and evening roam the Shillong’s famous Police Bazar on foot. Overnight in Shillong.
Day 02: Shillong – Cherrapunjee ( Meghalaya )
After breakfast drive to Cherrapunjee (60 kms / 2 hrs drive approx). En route visit the famous Elephant Falls and Shillong Peak - to enjoy a bird’s eye view of Shillong city. At Cherrapunjee visit – Mawsmai Cave, Mawsmai Falls, Seven Sisters Falls and Nohkalikai Falls. After lunch at Cherrapunjee, visit Thankarang Park, Koh Ramhah and Khrem Falls. Overnight in Cherrapunjee.
Day 03: Cherrapunjee – Shillong ( Meghalaya )
After breakfast local sightseeing in Cherrapunjee. Later drive back to Shillong. Later visit Ward’s Lake, Don Bosco Church. Overnight in Shillong.
Day 04: Shillong – Guwahati Airport Drop ( Meghalaya – Assam )
After breakfast transfer to Guwahati airport.
Exclusions
Expand- Government Service Tax @ 3.09% or as applicable Sightseeing entry fees, guide charge, Camera fee, any up-gradation charges Cost for Evening snacks & Tea Cost for service not mentioned under the “cost includes” heads. Cost for airfare, train fare or any other internal fare. Personal expenses such as laundry, soft drinks, mineral water, porter, tip etc. Expenses incurred due to change in oil price, mishaps, landslide, strike, political unrest etc. In such case, extra will be charged as per actual which will be collected directly from the guest. Difference in cost arising due to change in fuel price. Difference in cost arising due to extra usage of vehicle other than scheduled mentioned in the itinerary.
