Gangtok is a bustling, friendly hill station, and the capital of the Himalayan state of Sikkim. Gangtok is a popular place with tourists heading on treks, though the facilities do not reflect the number of international visitors. Highly organised and beautifully maintained, it is the Switzerland of the east.
Here is how you will spend your time
Day 1: Arrive At Gangtok
Arrival at New Jalpaiguri railway station / Bagdogra airport. Transfer to gangtok (5500 ft /130 kms / 04 hrs). Check in the hotel. Visit M.G Marg by walking and evening individual activities. Overnight stay at gangtok.
Day 2: Gangtok Full Day Tou
After breakfast you will start your full day Gangtok tour which will cover Tashi view point, Ganesh Tok, Hanuman Tok, Flower show, Cottage Industry and Handicraft Centre, Institute of Tibetology (Closed on Sunday and govt. Holidays), Directorate of Handicrafts & Handloom (Closed on Sunday and Govt. Holidays), Dro-drul Chorten, Nam Nang View Point (Ropeway on direct payment basis), Burtuk Falls, Ranka Monastery, Enchey Monastery and Banjakhri Falls. Evening back to hotel. Overnight stay at Gangtok.
