Day-wise Itinerary
ExpandDay 1: Arrival At New Jalpaiguri Railway Station/ Bagdogra Airport
Meet and greet on arrival at New Jalpaiguri railway station/ Bagdogra airport and transfer to Darjeeling is one of the most magnificent hill resorts in the world. Evening free to explore this Hill Queen. Overnight Halt at Darjeeling.
Day 2: Darjeeling Sightseeing
Early Morning at visit Tiger Hill famous for sunrise over Mount Kanchenzonga, on way back visit Ghoom Monastery, Batasia Loop and back to hotel. After breakfast visit Himalayan Mountainerring Institute,Padmaja Naidu Himalayan Zoological Park(closed on Thursday) Tenzing Rock, Tibetean Refuge Centre (closed on Sunday), Tea Garden (outer view), and back to hotel for lunch. Overnight halt at Darjeeling.
Day 3: Darjeeling To Gangtok
Morning transfer to Gangtok via Peshok Tea Gardens driving along the beautiful river Teesta. Overnight halt in Gangtok.
Day 4: Gangtok Excursion
After breakfast Excursion trip of Tsomgo Lake and Baba Mandir. Overnight halt in Gangtok.
Day 5: Gangtok To Lachung
After breakfast drive to Lachung (altitude 8800 ft) for about 6 hours. Enroute visit Singhik View point, Seven Sisters Water Falls, Naga Water Falls. Stop on way for lunch. Reach Lachung by evening. Dinner at hotel. Overnight halt at Lachung hotel.
Day 6: Lachung To Yumthang Excursion
Early Morning drive to Yumthang valley (known as Valley of Flowers), Yumthang is the summer grazing ground of the Yaks and winter playgrounds of Yetis. On the way back visit Hot Spring considered to have medicinal properties. Back to resort for lunch. Spent afternoon interacting with the local people taking the idea of their simple lifestyle. Overnight at stay hotel at Lachung.
Day 7: Lachung To Gangtok
After breakfast transfer for the Gangtok enroute witness the Beautification of the wonderful Bheema and Twin Falls. On arrival at check into your hotel. Overnight at hotel in Gangtok.
Day 8: Departure To Airport
Check out from hotel in time to catch your flight / Train for onward journey with Sweet memories.
