About the tour
Nameri National Park is located in the foothills of the Eastern Himalaya in the Sonitpur District of Assam, India. It is one of the richest and most threatened reservoirs of plant and animal life in the world. The Pakhui (Pakke) Sanctuary of Arunachal Pradesh adjoins the Park on its Northeastern side. The Park extends up to east and south west bank of the river Bor Dikorai from interstate boundary at Sijussa to the left bank of Jia Bharali River up to the south bank of Balipara Reserve Forest.

Day-wise Itinerary
ExpandDay 1: Arrival Guwahati To Nameri National Park
Arrive Guwahati and transfer to Nameri National Park. Overnight stay at Eco camp/ hotel.
Day 2: Nameri National Park To Dirang
After breakfast transfer to Dirang. En-route we visit Orchid century at Tippy where more than 500 different species are available. Overnight stay at hotel.
Day 3: Dirang To Tawang
After breakfast transfer to Tawang. En-route we cross Sella pass, the highest Motorable Road in Eastern Himalaya at about 14000feet above the Sea level and Jaswant Garh (China – Indo war memorial). Overnight stay at hotel.
Day 4: Tawang Sightseeing
After breakfast we visit Tawang Monastery, the 400yrs old, 6th birth place of Dalai Lama, Local Market, Craft centre and Ani Gompa (Nanery). Overnight stay at hotel.
Day 05: Tawang To Bomdila
After breakfast, transfer to Bomdila. Enroute we visit Jung Water fall. Overnight stay at hotel.
Day 6: Bomdila To Tezpur
After breakfast transfer to Tezpur. Evening at leisure. Overnight stay at hotel.
Day 07: Tezpur To Kaziranga National Park
After Breakfast transfer to Kaziranga National Park, the home of the One Horned Rhinoceros” Check in at hotel /Resort , Evening free for leisure. Overnight stay at hotel/Resort.
Day 08 : Kaziranga National Park
Start the day at 445 AM with a 1 hr. Elephant Safari. Return to hotel from Breakfast After breakfast, enjoy Jeep Safari. Return to hotel for Lunch ,After lunch visit the nearby villages to experience the rural lifestyle. Overnight stay at hotel/Resort .
Day 9: Kaziranga National Park To Shillong
After breakfast proceed for Shillong. Arrive Shillong in the late afternoon check into hotel. Evening free for leisure. Overnight stay at hotel.
Day 10: Excursion To Cherrapunjee And Back
Start the day at 730 AM with a full day trip to Cherrapunjee, the wettest place on earth. Visit Shillong Peak, Elephanta Falls, Nohkalikai Falls, Mousamai Cave, Ramakrishna Mission. Back to Shillong in late afternoon. On arrival at Shillong, visit the markets in the Mall Back to the hotel by 7PM. Overnight stay at hotel.
Day 11: Shillong To Guwahati Airport Drop
After breakfast depart to Guwahati Airport for onward destination. Tour ends with sweet memories.
