Day 1: Arrival At Leh
Arrival Leh in the morning and transfer to the hotel. Take complete rest for the day for acclimatization to the high altitude of Leh (11,500 ft / 3500 meters). Overnight in hotel.
Day 2: Leh Local Sightseeing
After leisurely breakfast, visit Shey Palace, Thiksey Monastery, Hemis Monastery and Stok Palace Museum. Overnight at the hotel.
Day 3: Leh-pangong Lake-leh
Full day excursion to Pangong Lake (approx. 300 kms round trip, located on the Indo-China Border), en-route crossing the Chang-la pass (alt: 17370 feet). After sightseeing around the lake, drive back to Leh reaching in the late afternoon / evening. Overnight stay at hotel.
Day 4: Leh To Alchi Later Back To Leh
After leisurely breakfast, drive to visit 11th century Alchi Choskor, oldest surviving monastic heritage of Ladakh - a UNESCO listed heritage site. While returning to Leh from here, visit Sangam (confluence of Indus and Zanskar Rivers), Magnetic Point, Gurudwara Pathar Sahib, Kali Mata (temple of Guardians in Spituk monastery) and Hall of Fame. Overnight stay at hotel.
Day 5: Leh To Khardungla Back To Leh
Morning excursion to Khardong-La (80 kms round trip / alt: 18,380 feet), highest motor-able pass in the world and recorded in the Guinness Book of World Records. Rest of the day free to explore the markets for shopping etc. Overnight in hotel.
Day 6: Drop To Leh Airport
Early morning transfer to the airport for taking the flight back home.-Tour ends.
