Day-wise Itinerary
ExpandDay 1: Arrival At Leh
On arrival at Leh airport, you will be met by our representative and transfer you to Hotel. Lunch at hotel. Complete day for rest to get acclimatize with the high altitude in Leh (Ladakh) which is 3500 Mtrs above sea level. Overnight at Hotel.
Day 2: Leh Local Sightseeing
After early breakfast full day sightseeing of Shey, Thiksey and Hemis. Shey was the summer Palace of Ladakhi Kings and is where you can see the 36 Ft. high statue of Buddha made of copper and covered with gold. Thicksey : The twelve storied monastery of Thicksey is situated in the most prominent of positions, lies on an island Mountain. Finally visit Hemis : Farthest away from Leh, this is the wealthiest Monastery in Ladakh belonging to the Red Sect - it is here each summer that plays are held and Ladakhis from all parts of the country will visit Hemis. Evening return to Leh. Meals and overnight at hotel.
Day 3: Leh To Nubra Valley
After breakfast leave for Nubra Valley, driving across Khardong-la (alt: 18,380 ft). After descending from the pass, drive on for sightseeing of Sumoor area. Later check into a fixed camp in the same area or drive across to Diskit for overnight stay in a camp.
Day 4: Leh - Nubra Valley
After breakfast leave for Nubra Valley, driving across Khardong-la (alt: 18,380 ft). After descending from the pass, drive on for sightseeing of Sumoor area. Later check into a fixed camp in the same area or drive across to Deskit for overnight stay in a camp.
Day 5: Departure Leh
Transfer in time to the airport to connect onward destination flight.
Day 6: Nubra Valley To Leh
In the morning visit / explore Deskit , Hundar and the Sand Dunes where you can enjoy a short camel safari using the double-humped Bactrian camel found here (optional on direct payment). Later drive back to Leh, reaching in the late afternoon / evening. Overnight at the hotel.
Day 7: Leh - Pangong Lake - Leh
Full day excursion to Pangong Lake (approx. 300 kms round trip, located on the Indo-China Border), enroute crossing the Chang-la pass (alt: 17370 ft.). After sightseeing around the lake, drive back to Leh reaching in the late afternoon / evening. Overnight in hotel. Overnight in hotel.

Expand- Airfare to and from Leh. Any kind of bus or rail fare. Personal and medical insurance. Personal expenses such as tips, laundry, phone call etc. Any kind of drinks (alcoholic, mineral, soft or hard and starters.) Monastery entrance fees, camera fee, and monument guide services Anything not specifically mentioned under the head “Cost Inclusion”. Adventure activity like Rafting, Camel Safari, Mountain Biking, Motor Biking etc. Extra nights in hotel due to ill health, flight cancelation or any other reason. The service of vehicle is not included on leisure days & after finishing the sightseeing tour as per the itinerary. Extensions of tour programme or diversions in the tour itinerary for any reasons eg. due to bad weather, road closure, breakdown or any natural calamities
