Day-wise Itinerary

Day 01 : Arrival At Leh And Transfer To Kargil

Early Morning make a start to Leh via Sonmarg. After taking refreshments reach Dras (Second coldest inhabited place). Visit War memorial and with a view of Tiger hill and Tololing. Reach Kargil by evening. Overnight at Hotel in Kargil.

Day 02 : Kargil To Leh

After Breakfast start for Leh en-route visit giant statue of Maitreya Buddha carved in first century BC. Crossing Namika La(12,200ft) and Fotu La(13,432 ft), make a halt at the ancient monastery of Lamayuru. The view of wind eroded called lunar landscapes is mesmerizing. En-route Leh visit confluence point of Indus and Zanskar rivers, Magnetic Hill and hall of fame. Overnight at hotel in Leh.

Day 03 : Leh Sightseeing

The would be kept for acclimatization. After lunch visit Leh Market, Leh Palace and Shanti Stupa. Overnight at Leh.

Day 04 : Leh To Nubra Valley

After breakfast drive to Nubra valley via Khardungla (Highest Motorable road in the World, 18,380 ft). Arrive at Deskit monastery by afternoon. After having packed lunch head to sand dunes at Hunder for Bactrian camel safari. By late evening reach Sumur. Overnight at camp.

Day 05 : Nubra Valley To Leh

After breakfast visit Samstaling Monastery to see the morning proceedings at monastery. Head to Panamik (hot water spring) and drive back to by same route, crossing Khardungla Pass. Overnight at Leh.

Day 06 : Leh Sightseeing

After breakfast leave for Pangong Lake 14,500 ft, through Changla Pass 17,350 Ft. (Third Highest Motorable Road In The World.). Drive back to Leh. Overnight at Leh.

Day 07 : Leh Sightseeing

After breakfast visit Thiksey monastery and Shey Palace. Drive to Hemis monastery from there and visit Stok palace while drivinfg back to Leh . Overnight at Leh.

Day 08 : Departure

You would be dropped at airport for the journey to your destination .
