Day-wise Itinerary
ExpandDay 1: Arrival New Jalpaiguri Railway Station / (Ixb) Bagdogra Airport - Gangtok
On arrival at New Jalpaiguri Railway Station / (IXB) Bagdogra Airport, (413 Feet / 126 Meters) you will meet by our local representative who will assist you to board your vehicle to Gangtok (5412 Feet / 1650 Meters, 130 Kilo Meters / 04 to 05 Hours), Overnight at Hotel.
Day 2: Gangtok – Tshangu Lake & Baba Mandir Excursion
After breakfast, in the morning, start for excursion to Tshangu Lake (12400Feet / 3780 Meters / 43Kilo Meters in 3Hours one way from Gangtok) & Baba Mandir (13100Feet / 3994 Meters / 16Kilo Meters in 1Hours one way from Tshangu Lake. Situated at a height of 12400Feet / 3780 Meters / 43Kilo Meters in 3Hours one way, with an average depth of 50 feet. The cool water of the Lake is perfectly attuned with the scenic beauty around. Back to Gangtok and Overnight at Hotel.
Day 3: Gangtok - Darjeeling
Morning go for a half day (04 hours) sightseeing covering Jhakri Water Falls along with Do-rul Chhorten, Research Institute of Tibetology (Closed on Sunday), Directorate of Handicraft & Handloom (Closed on Sunday) and Flower Show. Afternoon transfer to Darjeeling (6710 Feet / 2046 Meters, 110 Kilo Meters / 04 to 05 Hours). Check in and overnight at Hotel.
Day 4: Darjeeling
Early morning tour to Tiger Hills (8482 Feet / 2586 Meters at around 4 AM) to view sunrise over Kanchendzonga Peak (subject to clear weather). On way back visit Ghoom Monastery, Batasia Loop. After breakfast go for a half-day sightseeing of Japanese Temple, Peace pagoda, Padmaja Naidu Himalayan Zoological Park & Himalayan Mountaineering Institute (Closed on Thursday), Darjeeling Ropeway Ride (Ticket cost not included & will be approx INR 180.00 per person) Tenzing & Gombu Rock, Tibetan Refugee Self-Help Center (Closed on Sunday) & panoramic view of Tea Estate. Overnight at Hotel.
Day 5: Darjeeling - new Jalpaiguri Railway Station / Bagdogra Airport
Today transfer to New Jalpaiguri Railway Station / (IXB) Bagdogra Airport (413 Feet / 126 Meters, 100 Kms / 03 to 04 Hours) for your onwards connection / journey.

Any increase in taxes or fuel price, leading to increase in cost on surface transportation & land arrangements, which may come into effect prior to departure. Room heater charges. Service tax. Insurance. (the cat holidays recommend to get the travel insurance done through us at a nominal cost when you are going for a vacation to the north east region of india always) Anything which is not included in the inclusion. Difference in cost arising due to change in fuel price (calculation based on petrol inr 70 per liter & diesel inr 58 per liter) Difference in cost arising due to extra usage of vehicle, other than scheduled & mentioned in the itinerary. Difference in cost arising due to change in taxes by the government which will have to be collected directly on arrival.The luxury vehicle (scorpio / xylo) will be provided to the guest for the complete tour. The vehicle changes every day/sector wise and will be on contract as per the itinerary. This vehicle is not on disposal. Also while opting for luxury vehicle please informs the guest to travel light with minimum baggage of one piece per person. In case of excess baggage the guest will have to opt for an extra vehicle for carrying the excess baggage. The cost for this will be collected directly from the guest. Maximum 06 heads (including adult & children) will be allowed in a scorpio / xylo. Maximum 08 heads (including adult & children) are allowed in non ac Tata sumo / similar. Ac of this luxury vehicle will only operate in plain and not in hills. Children above 10+ years will be charged 100% as per Adult Rate (EPSR) Children of 5+ to 10 sharing parent’s room will be charged as per CWB or CNB Children below 5 years Complimentary
