Day 1: Arrive Cochin And Transfer To Munnar
Pick up from Cochin airport or railway station and transfer to Munnar, one of the most beautiful hill station in South India. On the way visit Cheeyappara and Valara waterfalls. Overnight stay at resort or hotel in Munnar.
Day 2: Munnar Sightseeing
After breakfast proceed for Munnar sightseeing. Visit Eravikulam National Park, where you can see the rare species Nilgiri Tahr (mountain goats). Also visit Mattupetty Dam which offers many fascinating sights to relish. Besides the lush green tea plantations and the rolling grasslands, the Shola forests in and around Mattupetty are ideal for trekking and are habitat to a variety of birds. Later visit Kundala Dam. Kundala is a picturesque town located at the confluence of three mountain streams namely Mudrapuzha, Nallathanni and Kundala. En route also visit Echo Point, View Point and green carpet of Tea Gardens. Overnight stay at resort or hotel in Munnar.
Day 3: Munnar To Thekkady
After breakfast proceed to Thekkady. It is famous for its dense evergreen, semi evergreen, moist deciduous forests and savanna grass lands. Visit Periyar Wildlife Sanctuary. Evening enjoy the boat cruise in the lake to watch wild animals. Overnight stay at Thekkady.
Day 4: Thekkady To Kumarakom
Transfer to Kumarakom, a small backwater village which lies along the backwaters of Kerala, with a bird sanctuary overlooking the Vembanad Lake. Here you can get a feel of the essence of a typical village life of Kerala. Overnight stay at resort in Kumarakom.
Day 5: Kumarakom To Alleppey
Day 6: Alleppey To Cochin Departure
Check out from Houseboat at 9 AM and proceed to Cochin. If time permits Cochin sightseeing. Later on time transfer to airport or railway station to connect flight or train for your onward journey.
