Day 1: Arrival In Madrid
On your arrival in Madrid, meet our representative and you will be transferred to your hotel. Unwind for a while and then you can explore your surroundings.
Day 2: Madrid Sightseeing Tour With Prado Museum
Today morning, proceed for a half day guided tour of Madrid. See the main sights including Plaza Mayor, the Royal Palace, Plaza de los Cibeles and much more, then enjoy an in-depth guided tour of the world-famous Prado to study works by the likes of Hieronymus Bosch, El Greco, Velazquez and Goya. Discover the wealth of grandiose Renaissance and baroque architecture bequeathed by the Habsburg and Bourbon monarchs while driving through the Puerta Del Sol, Plaza Mayor and Plaza de la Villa. Continue towards the Royal Palace – the largest in Europe – and the famous Cibeles and Neptuno fountains, and the Puerta de Alcala. Explore contemporary Madrid with boulevards such as Gran Via, Paseo de la Castellana, the upmarket district of Salamanca, Plaza de Castilla, Parque del Oeste, the university, the emblematic Las Ventas Bullring and the Bernabeu Stadium. Visit the Prado Museum, home to some of the greatest artworks ever created, and study the works of four masters. Later in the afternoon you are free to explore Madrid on your own. Overnight stay at hotel.
Day 3: Transfer From Madrid To Barcelona
Today check-out and travel on your own to the Madrid railway station to take the high speed train to Barcelona. After 3 hours, you will reach Barcelona, the Catalonian capital. Walk to your hotel and check-in and relax for some time.
Day 4: Full Day Montessarat + Barcelona Highlights
Today take a air conditioned coach journey out of Barcelona and climb the majestic mountains of Montserrat to a height of over 1,200m. Shaped over the centuries by erosion from wind and rain, the rocks up here have taken remarkable forms and inspired myths and legends for centuries. Visit the stunning Abbey of Santa Maria of Montserrat, built in the 11th century and home to a highly important shrine of the Virgin of Montserrat, also known as “The Black Virgin”. Then head back into the city to take in the best works of one of Catalonia’s favourite sons, Antoni Gaudí. Visit the spectacular and famously unfinished Basilica de la Sagrada Familia, the spectacular, modernist Parc Güell and Paseo de Gracia, which features the famous Casa Batllò and la Pedrera. Learn the history and admire the beauty of these structures as your guide leads you through the centre of Barcelona.
Day 5: Transfer From Barcelona To Paris - Seine Cruise + Illuminations
Check-out after breakfast and head for the airport for your flight to Paris. You will be transferred to your hotel and check-in. Later in the evening (around 7:00 pm) you proceed for the night tour of Paris. Reach the meeting point (on your own) and board a "bateaux parisiens" boat for a cruise along the River Seine with multilingual commentary. (duration 1hour). After the cruise we board again our bus for a city tour to admire the beautifully illuminated historical buildings of Paris: Concorde, Opera House, Madeleine, Champs Élysées, etc. Return back to the hotel in the night.
Day 6: Full Day Hop-on Hop-off Tour
Wake up to breakfast this morning following which it's time for you to see and explore Paris at your pace armed with the Paris one day Hop On Hop Off pass. Enroute the Hop on Hop pass a must visit is the Grevin Wax Museum - Discover a legendary site of entertainment and illusion, in the heart of Paris. Be a star for a day, get near famous people and discover new faces at the famous Paris Wax Museum. Continue to spend your time shopping at any of the great shopping malls like the Galeries Lafayette for the best in haute couture and places that give the word shopping a completely new meaning. Overnight in Paris.
Day Trip To Versailles
Experience the grandeur of Versailles Palace and Gardens on a small group tour from Paris. With a maximum of only eight per group, this small group trip to Versailles ensures a more intimate experience. Hotel pickup from centrally located Paris hotels is included, taking all the guess work out of your trip. You can choose from a half-day independent tour either in the morning or afternoon, or a full-day guided tour. On both the tours you'll also be able to wander around the garden's groves and pools. If you visit Versailles on a Saturday or Sunday during April to October, you can see the famous fountain show in the gardens. The display is accompanied by music composed at the time of Louis XIV's court.
Day 8: Departure From Paris
After breakfast you will be transfered to the airport to catch your return flight back home.
