Day-wise Itinerary
ExpandDay 1: Arrive Leh
Pick up from Airport and check in at the hotel. Rest of the day free at leisure. Overnight stay at hotel.
Day 2: Leh Sightseeing
In the morning ready for the sightseeing of Leh throughout the day. Visit Hemis Monastery (Largest Monastery in Ladakh), Shey Palace, Thiksey Monastery. Evening visit Shanti Stupa – (Highest point in Leh) View of lit-up Leh city at twilight. Overnight at hotel.
Day 3: Leh To Pangong And Return To Leh
After breakfast drive via Chang La – 3rd highest motorable road in the world (5360 m. or 17590 ft. above sea level). Lunch not included in Pangong. Visit Pangong Lake. Also visit 3 idiots shooting point. Reach Leh by late evening. Overnight at hotel.
Day 4: Leh To Nubra Valley
- Post breakfast drive to Nubra Valley. Cross Khardung La – Highest Motorable Road in the world. (18,380 ft above sea level).
- Lunch (not included) at Khalsar / Khardung village. Visit Diskit Monastery. Ride (optional) on Double-humped Bactrian Camels in the sand dunes of Hundar. Overnight in camp.
Day 5: Nubra Valley To Leh
After breakfast drive back to Leh. Meantime halt at Khardung La top for photos. Reach hotel by early afternoon. Rest of the day at leisure in Leh. Overnight at hotel in Leh.
Day 6: Leh And Sham Valley Sightseeing
After breakfast proceed to Sham Valley. Stop at Sangam – Confluence of Indus and Zanskar rivers. While returning visit Magnetic Hill – Scientific Phenomenon. Interim halt at Gurudwara Pathar Sahib. Return to hotel in Leh for overnight stay.
Day 7: Departure
After breakfast drive to Leh airport. Tour ends with great travel experience.
