Day-wise Itinerary
ExpandDay 1: Arrival At New Jalpaiguri Railway Station Or Bagdogra Airport And Transfer To Darjeeling
- Meet & Greet on arrival at New Jalpaiguri railway station or Bagdogra airport& transfer to Darjeeling which is one of the most magnificent hill resorts in the world. Evening free to explore this Hill queen.
- Overnight stay at hotel.
Day 2: Darjeeling Sightseeing
- After breakfast proceed for visit 7 points ,covering The Himalayan Mountaineering Institute & PNZ Zoological Park (both closed on Thursday) Tenzing Rock, Tibetan Self Help Refuge Centre (closed on Sunday), Tea Garden (outer view), Japanese Temple, Peace Pagoda & Ropeway ( operational , ropeway ride cost to be paid by guest directly ) .
- Return by evening for overnight stay at hotel.
Day 3: Darjeeling To Kalimpong (70kms/approx 3hrs)
- After breakfast ,proceed to Kalimpong. On arrivall, check in hotel. Later, visit for sightseeing that includes The Dello, cactus Nursery, Mangal Dham and Buddhist monastery.
- Return to hotel for overnight stay.
Day 4: Kalimpong To Gangtok (75kms/approx 2.5hrs)
- After breakfast ,transfer to Gangtok.
- On arrival, Check in hotel and rest of the day at leisure . Overnight stay at hotel.
Day 5: Gangtok – Tshangu Lake & Baba Mandir Excursion
- After breakfast, start for excursion to Tshangu Lake . Situated at a height of 12400Feet / 3780 Meters / 43Kilo Meters in 3Hours one way, with an average depth of 50 Feet. The cool water of the Lake is perfectly attuned with the scenic beauty around.
- Later, visit Baba Mandir (13100Feet / 3994 Meters / 16Kilometers , 1Hour one way from Tshangu Lake. It is dedicated to “Baba” Harbhajan Singh, who was a soldier of the Indian Army. He died near the Nathula Pass in eastern Sikkim. Two shrines have been built to show reverence to Baba Harbhajan Singh.
- Return to Gangtok by evening for overnight stay in hotel.
Day 6: Departure (125kms/approx 4 Hrs)
After breakfast, check out from hotel & proceed to Bagdogra Airport/Jalpaiguri railway station for departure, back to home with beautiful memories of a life time trip.
