Day 1: Arrive Paro Transfer To Thimphu Hotel
Pick-up from Paro airport and transfer (65 kms – 1.15 hrs drive) to Thimphu. Check into the hotel. Overnight stay at Thimphu.
Day 2: Thimphu Sightseeing
After breakfast visit Takin Zoo, BBS Tower, Chang Gangkha Monastery, Buddha Point, Changlimthang stadium and Archery ground. Afternoon visit Tashichho dzong ( Outside view), National memorial Chorten, Government-run handicrafts Emporium and local crafts shops. Overnight stay at Thimphu.
Day 3: Thimphu To Punakha /wangdue Via Dochula Pass
After permit ( Permit is not issued on Saturdays, Sundays and Govt holidays) drive (70 kms / 2.30 hrs) to Punakha/Wangdue, with a stop en-route for tea at Dochu La Pass (3,100 meters), where on a clear day you can get spectacular views of the Himalayas. En-route you can visit Mehsina Village and Chime Lhakhang. Visit Punakha Dzong and Sangchen Dorji Lhendrup Nunnery in Punakha. Overnight stay at Punakha/Wangdue.
Day 4: Transfer To Paro
Morning transfer (160 kms / 4 hrs) to Paro. Check into the hotel. Overnight stay at Paro.
Day 5: Paro Sightseeing
After breakfast visit Ta Dzong (National Museum) and then walk down the trail to visit Rinpung Dzong which has a long and fascinating history. Afternoon visit Drukgyel Dzong, the ruined fortress from where Bhutanese repelled several invasion by Tibetan armies. Later visit Kyichu Lhakhang, one of the oldest and most sacred shrines of the Kingdom. Return at hotel and overnight stay at Paro.
Day 6: Depart Bhutan
After breakfast drop to Paro airport.
