Gangtok is one of the more popular hill destinations in India's northeast region. Most travelers visit Gangtok with the idea of catching a glimpse of the spectacular Kanchenjunga, the third highest peak in the world. Gangtok roughly means 'Majestic or Lofty Hill'. Tourists throng to Darjeeling throughout the year to enjoy its cool weather, mystical Himalayan mountains, beautiful hills and more. Each sight in this town is picture-perfect. Darjeeling is perfect for honeymoons or romantic getaways.
Here is how you will spend your time
Day 1: Njp Railway / Ixb Airport/tenzing Norgay Bus Stand (Junction) To Gangtok
On Arrival at Bagdogra (IXB) airport or NJP Railway Station or Tenzing Norgay Bus Stand (Junction) our Representative will assist you to board your vehicles to Gangtok (130 kms / 4 hrs), Gangtok (5500 Ft) the capital of Sikkim, Sikkim - Sikkim is a land of dramatic contours. Rugged mountains, deep valleys and dense forests consort with raging rivers, lakes and waterfalls to create a visual feast. The state has the steepest rise in altitude over the shortest distance and has within its 7,096 sq. kms the entire climatic range, from tropical to temperate to alpine. Check into hotel, evening free to roam around M G Road (Mall) or local Shopping center. Overnight stay at Gangtok.
Day 2: Gangtok (3+7 Points) Sightseeing
After breakfast ready for city tour, First half cover Hanuman Talk, Ganesh Talk & Tashi View Point, Later proceed for rest of the points, that is the seven points. Rumtek Monastery, Directorate of Handicrafts and Handlooms (Closed on Sunday), BI- Cable Ropeway (Own Ticket). “For Bird Eye View of Gangtok, Which offers a great view of the Khangchendzonga range apart from an overview of Gangtok town and the valley below”. Research Institute of Tibetology (Closed on Sunday), Do-Dul-Chorten (Stupa ), Botanical Garden & Flower show and Banjhakri Falls- One of the Finest in Nearby. Evening free for personal activities & shopping. Over Night stay at Gangtok.
Day 3: Gangtok To Pelling (130 Kms/approx 3 Hrs)
Morning Go for a half day (04 hrs) sightseeing covering Jhakri Water Falls along with Do-rul Chhorten, Research Institute of Tibetology (Closed on Sunday), Directorate of Handicraft & Handloom (Closed on Sunday) and Flower Show. Afternoon transfer to Pelling (5500 Ft / 1675 Mts, 116 Kms / 05 to 06 Hrs). Check in and Overnight at Hotel.

Day 4: Full Day Sightseeing In Pelling
After breakfast at hotel drive for Full Day Sightseeing of Pelling and its surroundings. The routes are forested and the botanical and zoological richness is inspiring. Places of visit are- The Rimbi Water Falls, Rimbi Rock Garden, Kanchandzonga Waterfalls. “It is one of the most beautiful waterfalls in Sikkim and is normally active throughout the year”, Khecheopari Lake - “it is one of the holy Buddhist lake and it is believed that any wish in front of the lake comes true - Myth is that when a leaf falls on the placid clear water surface, it is picked by a bird and thus the water surface is always free of leaves”, Kechopalri Monastery, Kanchenjunga Water Falls, Pemayangtse Monastery, Rabdantse Ruins, the scenic view from the top of the ruin to the mystic heights of Kanchendzonga ranges is something to be cherished.
Day 5: Pelling To Kalimpong (125 Kms/approx 3 Hrs)
After breakfast, check out from hotel & proceed to Kalimpong, located at an altitude of 4,100ft. Because of its relatively lower altitude compared to Darjeeling or Gangtok, the weather is milder and pleasant for most part of the year. And therefore it suits all tourists who are looking for such pleasant weather combined with magnificent views of Kanchenjunga and other Himalayan snow peaks, sweeping landscapes and lush greenery.

Travel from Pelling to Kalimpong
Day 6: Kalimpong Sightseeing
After breakfast proceed for sightseeing by visiting the Mangal Dham which is spread over a sprawling 2 acres in the peaceful locales of Kalimpong, this temple-cum-prayer hall was built in the memory of Shri 108 Mangaldasji Maharaj based on the principle of social upliftment. Deolo Hill-the highest point of Kalimpong with an altitude of about 5,500ft with a 8-acre lush parkland with manicured flower gardens and several view points with breathtaking views of Kanchenjunga & Durpin hill.

Day 7: Kalimpong To Darjeeling (50 Kms/approx 2 Hrs)
After breakfast, check out from hotel & proceed to Darjeeling, spread in ribbons over a steep mountain ridge, surrounded by emerald-green tea plantations and towered over by the majestic Khangchendzonga (8598m), Darjeeling is the definitive Indian hill station.
On arrival check in at hotel & day free for leisure on own.

Travel from Kalimpong to Darjeeling
Day 8: Darjeeling Sightseeing
Early morning tour to Tiger Hills (8482 Feet / 2586 Meters at around 4 AM) to view sunrise over Kanchendzonga Peak (subject to clear weather). On way back visit Ghoom Monastery, Batasia Loop. After breakfast go for a half-day sight seeing of Japanese Temple, Peace pagoda, Padmaja Naidu Himalayan Zoological Park & Himalayan Mountaineering Institute (Closed on Thursday), Darjeeling Ropeway Ride (Ticket cost not included & will be approx INR 180.00 per person) Tenzing & Gombu Rock, Tibetan Refugee Self-Help Center (Closed on Sunday) & panoramic view of Tea Estate.
