Day-wise Itinerary
ExpandDay 1: Arrival At Srinagar
Meet upon arrival at Srinagar airport and transfer to hotel. After fresh up proceed for sightseeing of Mughal gardens visiting Nishat Bagh (Abode of pleasure), Shalimar Bagh (Abode of Love). These beautiful mountains are situated on the bank of Dal Lake with the Zabarwan Mountains in the background. Enroute, visit a carpet weaving factory. Dinner and overnight stay at hotel.
Day 2: Visit Sonamarg And Return To Srinagar
After breakfast, leave for full day excursion of Sonamarg “Meadows of Gold” which is one of the most beautiful drives from Srinagar. You may take a pony ride (at your own cost) to Thajiwas Glacier where snow remains round the year. It serves as the base for the treks to Harmukh range via Nichnai, Vishensar Lake, and Gangabal and to Nara Nag. This place is famous for trout fishing. Dinner and overnight in the hotel at Srinagar.
Day 3: Srinagar To Gulmarg
After breakfast check out of the hotel and proceed to Gulmarg. Arrive Gulmarg and check in at hotel for overnight stay. Enjoy the leisurely walks on the lush green meadows of flowers with a backdrop of the snow capped mountains. In winter, Gulmarg acquires a new persona that of the country’s premier skiing resort. Enjoy pony ride or Gondola ride (rope way) to Khillanmarg at your own cost. Dinner and overnight stay in the hotel.
Day 4: Gulmarg To Pahalgam
After breakfast check out of the hotel at Gulmarg and proceed to Pahalgam. Enroute visit the world famous Saffron growing fields, Awantipora ruins (9th Century). Pahalgam is also famous for Indian film Industry (Bollywood). Pahalgam is also famous for some trekking routes and base camp for Amarnath Pilgrimage. Enjoy the natural beauty and thereafter dinner and overnight stay in the hotel.
Day 5: Pahalgam To Srinagar
After breakfast drive back to Srinagar. Arrive Srinagar and check in at the houseboat. Evening enjoy a majestic Shikara ride on the famous Dal Lake to enjoy the beauty that God has graced this city with, which is often compared to Venice. You will get views of some interesting places around the Lake. Dinner and overnight at Deluxe Houseboat.
Day 6: Srinagar To Delhi Departure
After breakfast transfer to Srinagar airport to board flight for onward destination.
