Day-wise Itinerary
ExpandDay 01: Delhi - Haridwar (230 Kms / 06 Hrs)
- Group assembly point: Comesum Restaurant Hazrat Nizammudin Railway Station, New Delhi at 10:30 am to board and proceed to Haridwar – The Gateway of Chardham Yatra. Upon arrival at Haridwar check inn into the hotel. Evening attend The Ganga Arti at famous Har Ki Pauri. Later in the evening attend the Holy Yatra briefing, dinner and overnight stay at the hotel.
- Rituals & Activities : Beginning of Yatra perform special ritual activities like Ganga Snan , Hawan & Aarti , Yagya , Sadhu Sewa , Arrangment Brahman Bhojnam at end of Yatra,
- Optional : : Visit Chila Forest Range / Vindhyavasani Forest Ranage / Khimsar Village Life / White Water Rafting
Day 02: Haridwar - Barkot (210 Kms / 07 Hrs)
- After breakfast leave for Barkot via Mussoorie. En route visit Kempty fall. Upon arrival check in into the hotel, rest of the day is at leisure. Dinner and overnight stay at hotel at Barkot.
- No activities. Reach Barkot and have proper rest. Acclimatise your mind and body to start a trek to Yamnotri from JanakiChatti. Once you reach Yamnotri.
Day 03: Barkot – Jankichatti – Yamunotri – Jankichatti – Barkot (38kms/2hrs Drive & 5kms/3hrs On Foot)
- After breakfast proceed to Yamunotri (38kms drive/ 2hrs and 05 kms trek/ 3hrs one way), here one can cook rice by packing it in a cloth and dipping it in the hot water of the hot kund. Pilgrims take this cooked rice home as "Prasad". Here near the temple "Pooja" can be offered to Divya Shila, after taking bath in Jamunabai Kund's warn water and having "Darshan" of pious "Yamunaji". Later return to Barkot for overnight stay.
- Rituals & Activities : Snan in Tapt Kund Yamnotri , Yamuna Pujan in Divya Shila , Yamnotri Temple Darshan , Hanuman Temple ,
- Optional : Participate in Pre Booked Aarti in Yamnotri Temple where you will get advantage of performing Aarti in your Name / Gotra.
Day 04: Barkot – Uttarakashi - Gangnani (140 Kms / 07 Hrs)
- After breakfast leave for Uttarkashi visit Kashi Vishwanath Temple and drive to Gangnani . Evening free for leisure & local attractions. Dinner & overnight stay at Gangnani,uttarkashi.
- Visit Kashi Vishwanath,Uttarkashi + Aadi Shakti Mata Darshan (Mahisasur Mardini)
- Rituals & Activities : Get chance to perform Abhishek Puja in Kashi Vishwanath Temple.Upon reaching Ganganani visit Parasar Muni Temple , enjoy bathing in Hot water spring (Tapt Kund). Your body will be completely relaxed after the tiring trek of Yamnotri.
Day 05: Gangnani - Gangotri – Harsil – Gangnani (120kms / 05 Hrs) Round Trip
- With packed breakfast & post Tea/ Coffee leave for Gangotri early in the morning. offering prayers & pooja darshan, later drive back to Gangnani, en route visit Gangnani. Overnight stay at Gangnani.
- Gangotri: Gangotri temple is 18th Century temple dedicated to Goddess Ganga. It is located near a sacred stone where king Bhagirath worshipped Lord Shiva Ganga is believed to have touched earth at this spot. Accordingly to another legend, Pandavas performed the great "Deva Yagna" here to a tone the death of their kinsmen in the epic battle of Mahabharata. The temple is an exquisite 20 ft. high structure made of white granite.
Day 06: Gangnani – Rishikesh-haridwar(270kms/8hrs)
- Leave very early in the morning with packed breakfast for almost day long drive to Haridwar. On your drive you would pass through Ganga giving way to Tehri Dam (The Hydro Electric Project). Visit Rishikesh & Overnight stay at the hotel at Haridwar .
- Rituals & Activities : Visit of Tehri Dam,, Ganga Aarti in Rishikesh.
Day 7: Haridwar - Delhi (215 Kms / 07 Hrs)
- Post early breakfast, proceed your return journey to Delhi. Drop at Hazrat Nizammudin Railway Station, New Delhi (estimated time of arrival 1500 hrs).
- Optional : Haridwar Rituals : Beginning of Yatra perform special ritual activities like Ganga Snan , Hawan & Aarti , Yagya , Sadhu Sewa , Arrangment Brahman Bhojnam at end of Yatra.
