If you want to see Leipzig's skyline from a bird's eye perspective, then this viewing tower offers you the opportunity for free. Situated in the middle of woodland , near the zoo, the Wackelturm ("Wobbly Tower") as locals refer to it, is a metal construction built especially for the purpose, offering wonderful views over the city centre, the War Memorial and the suburbs. Unfortunately it's not an easy place to find, but just ask passers by and you'll find it eventually. The climb to the top is a bit hairy, but the view at the end is worth it!
