Balthazar has been at the top of its game for more than a decade now and has a swag of awards to prove it, including top five Perth restaurant and Gourmet Traveller 'Wine List of the Year' 2009. Housed in the historic Lawson building, the heritage sandstone facade matches perfectly with the intimate lighting and modern European cuisine to give Balthazar its timeless appeal. The signature aged beef fillet is still one of the best to be found in Perth and is hard to go past on a seasonal menu filled with stellar options. A clear winner from the dessert menu is similarly hard to pick, but it would almost be a shame to pass up the Balthazar cheese plate.
