Located on Dubai's Palm Jumeirah, Bidi Bondi is a laid-back Aussie bar that feels like it's been imported straight from the Gold Coast. Decked-out with hanging surfboards and sports memorabilia, the bright and airy bar looks out over the sea and attracts an achingly cool surfer crowd. While it's great for some casual drinks with friends, it also boasts an impressive food menu with classic tucker like burgers, fish and chips and bangers and mash. The sports bar is, of course, busiest when a game is showing or on Thursdays when the solo musician regales the crowd with modern and classic tunes. A pre-Sandance stop at Bidi Bondi for the weekend main-course-and-four-drinks deal has also become a rite of passage for many Atlantis-bound revellers. Even the marina's most loyal residents can be enticed to migrate to the Palm for some Aussie Bidi Bondi fun.
